Purchased this set for my new i7 build. The memory is rock solid and has responded well to overclocking. The only issue was that the heat sink would be too large if I populated the remaining 3 slots but this is because of the Noctura nh-u12p not the ram itself. |

Over the years, I have owned nearly a dozen different sets oh high end memory modules from most of the major memory suppliers. This is my first set of Corsair sticks. I was looking for a good set of low latency, low voltage modules to perform with my new i940/Rampage II Extreme rig. These modules are rated at 8-8-8-24 1T @ 1.65Vdimm. I am currently running several different overclocks ranging from 1604 MHz to 1710 MHz but not at 1.65Vdimm, but 1.55 and 1.57 Vdimm respectively at the rated (8-8-8-24 1T). I am in the process of experimenting with lower latencies, but suffice it to say, this is the most awesome set of modules I have owned to this point and at a price of about half of what I paid for a 2gb set of the older DDR2 technology a couple of years earlier. All oc's are determined stable after 4 passes of memtest86+ v2.10. I am happy to give these modules the highest rating with respect to price and performance without any hesitation. Extremely well constructed. |
Got a set of these for my i7 build. Theses things are monsters, great for overclocking and reliable. Stays cool because of the heatsinks. Highly recommended.
