Crucial memory is running smooth as generally. No problems and operates like a charm None Only had this memory about week but Important is the only brand I acquire now days and in no way in past 10 years had any issue out of Important memory to any motherboard I put too. As for Kingston I have had motherboard not function but worked with Essential. So Crucial is the way to go I feel.

RAM functions fine on my GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM board. no challenges. It was pretty low cost when compared to other RAM. None genuinely, possibly no heat spreader, but I wonder no matter whether that is just a gimick.

Definitely a wonderful deal for a 4GB kit. Inserted the modules, ran memtest and had totally no troubles. None if you're happy running the RAM at stock speed.

Economical, Important warranty. Mine came with Hynix, not Micron chips (not pleased). To be expected when not shopping for direct, but to be fair, Newegg does show Micron chips in the product image. I hear Important has offered to replace sticks like this in the previous.

Purchased 4G to replace more quickly Patriot sticks (one was dead). They passed memtest and my method is running quite smoothly. No challenge with gaming at all. Ugly, but that's like complaining about the color of the wires in your car engine. Does it even matter at all? (rhetorical query for the sarcastic-impaired)

Operates extremely well. Good cost for four GB of memory. Packaged in sealed plastic which had to be cut all about to open - a possible ESD hazard.

Fantastic memory that functions appropriate out of the box! I bought two 4GB kits of this memory for installation on my XFX motherboard and it has worked flawlessly since installation. I have bought memory modules from Important for the final nine years and have however to be disappointed with the top quality and efficiency of their memory goods. None. Unless you are overclocking your program, this is the memory you should be acquiring. If you are overclocking your computer system, then you really should strongly contemplate acquiring Crucial's Ballistix memory merchandise. Just FYI.

As often Vital has a great stable item no heat spreader Bought these to replace a pair of 1GB overall performance memory. The latencies are a tiny greater that what I had but the technique is many years old and no longer operating at the front of the pack. I was seeking for a great stable memory expansion to extend the life of the system and I found it with this pair from Critical.

Fast , Assured compatibility!Great assistance ! Its vital! none ever. To the individual who complained about having to return both sticks when only one particular was bad. - you purchased a Matched dual channel kit these are tested matched pairs it would be impossible to replace just one stick and nonetheless have a matched pair. don't blame newegg and its exceptional staff or critical for your lack of tech. information. Also before you obtain crucial Usually use there memory tool on there site if it matched your board/system with memory ITS Assured to Work and they WILL Help IT. (with usa based agents even!)

performs excellent, Surely speeds up the Desktop. Bear in mind the three gig switch with XP Operating XP x86 so I'm only making use of 3 gigs.... have to do the 3 gig switch (software line in bootup to take benefit of the 3rd gig) but it performs properly. Require to update to XP x64 or windows 7 when released (I refuse to run vista) So I can seriously see what it can do.

Hey it's memory ! It worked when I installed it. Nothing went incorrect afterwards. It's like white bread. You consume it, and forget about it. There's actually nothing you can say about either if it doesn't bother you, or go wrong. Price is right, at least for the memory, not so significantly for white bread ! None

Purchased this to upgrade my Vista install which was working with 3GB of 667 RAM. It's perform as advertised, though I wish I would've accomplished better study prior to ordering this. It turns out that while Vista 32-bit is advertised to deal with 4GB of RAM, it genuinely can't. It has 4GB of addressable memory space, some of which is employed by the Operating Method itself and the hardware on your method. So on my method I only get about 3324MB of obtainable RAM. I didn't pay closer consideration before ordering these. CL-6 speed. See below. Not seriously Important's fault, but the bigger concern is that remapping/overloading of RAM space causes apparent efficiency troubles. I was somewhat shocked when my memory score dropped from five.four to 4.8 on the Vista PI. I'm not confident what I'm going to do however, but may well just sell this RAM and get 3GB of 800MHz sticks to restore the performance.

Great price tag on sale with no cost shipping.Essential quality and no issues with Ubuntu, XP SP3 or Win7beta. Not DDR3 but that does not matter to me. This is in a HTPC that makes use of GIGABYTE GA-MA78GPM-DS2H, 4850e along with a couple of WD HD's. Install was painless, set up was straightforward and anything worked great with Ubuntu 8.10 x64, Win7 x64 and XPPro SP3 x86. I have been working with Important ram given that the mid 90's and it will continue to be my Memory of option.
