I bought two of these to replace my present 4x1GB chips also by G.Skill. Newegg shipped it in just a single day and when I installed these, the method worked without having any troubles, it was easy plug and play. I ran memtest on these for about 16 hours with 11 passes without any errors. None at all! using two of the two x 2GB for a total of eight GB on an Abit IP35 Pro motherboard.

G.Ability memory is quality built. I have bought several sorts and a variety of speeds of G.Skill memory and I have not once been dissapointed. Pop it in and it performs. The rates are constantly superior and the performance by no means dissapoints. none I wish motherboard suppliers would broaden their certified vendor lists for memory modules. I utilised this DDR2 800 on a budget make for a friend. I knew it would work. The motherboard and processor would have supported DDR2 1066 but only the memory from the vendor list was guaranteed to function at that speed and all of that memory was considerably more pricey. If I purchased DDR2 1066 off the list it likely would have defaulted to 800 MGz anyway.

Outstanding memory. Had 2gb of Kingston DDR2 800mhz place in some of these and my score in win7 Ultimate went from five.five to 5.9. Not undesirable dosn't appear to be compatible with other memory - but you shouldn't be mixing memory modules anyway. I place these in my laptop along with 2GB of Kingston modules and once i got into windows the properties stated that i have 6GB of Ram but only 3GB exactly where usable. Turns out that these modules exactly where not compatible with the Kingston sticks i had in there so i took em out and now Win7 displays 4GB all usable.

Purchased a pair of this in Oct 2007 for my new Q6600 desktop, CPU was slightly overclocked from 2.4g to 3g and my personal computer has been on fairly considerably 24ǝ for 3+ tears with no difficulties whatsoever.
