Comment:
It worked proper out of the box, used it to add to my 4GB Transcend 800mhz ram with distinct latencies to make 8GB in all, noticed it lowered my clock speed down to 667MHz from 800Mhz, due to the fact of the various latencies, Transcend is 6 and G.Skill is five, took the CL6 Transcend out, and my pc was just as quick with only the 4GB G.Skill in there and spd went back up to 800MHz, so thats how i left it None whatsoever, perfect for what i want it for

Shiny box, oooooo shiny sticks, OOOOOO fast computer. I really should've purchased another pair to fill up my RAM slots. I bought Corsair sticks ahead of this, decided to acquire these on account of less expensive costs than the prior sticks I purchased. That and I wanted to see both sides of the memory manufacturers(Corsair vs. G.Skill, or so I've seen on forums).I think I'm leaning toward G.Skill.

Extremely quick timing for the cost. Straightforward plug n play. Functions properly with my Crucial 2GB ƒ x 1GB) CT2KIT12864AA80E in which I had purchased three years ago and is now deactivated. Absolutely nothing to do with the item. United States Postal Service lost my package so I named New Egg and their superb service upgraded my new shipment at no price to Next Day UPS. Took about 9 days to get, but properly worth the wait. A extended time ago Ɠ years, that's a long time in technologies years) I had a friend of mine construct my computer. At that time he told me that when I purchased XP for it that the 32 bit technique can only support up to 4 gig of ram. Effectively, when I purchased this I had plans to install it with my two gig already, but did not don\'t forget what my friend had told me about the 32 bit XP. So I installed this, very effortless, and my personal computer only stated I had three gig of RAM. Googled it and came up with the similar answer my friend gave my 3 years ago. Duh!! Luckily my university had given me Windows 7 64 bit skilled for cost-free and so I decided to dual boot my technique to try out Windows 7 and to get my full RAM. RAM functions fantastic now at full capacity. Adobe CS4 Master Suite is operating at super light speed, compared to my two gig ahead of. Sorry for the life story, but just figured I would point this out for everyone who may possibly not understand it like me.

None None I've bought these about a week ago, so far i have 3 days with them. Unfortunetly when i installed these, my pc would not boot up corrtectly, just a blank display screen. Then i decided to get some help from gskill on their forums, had to wait a full day to get registered.I already posted a new thread for assist, and no response however. It's been up for 2 full days witch genuinely irritates me. Seriously slow support...I think im just going to RMA the factor seriously, it's a waste of my time. Functions at Stock Speed Will not overclock. I have had a set of GSKILL DDR2 800 mhz that overclocked like a champ. These are not even close to the set of GSKILL I have F2-6400PHU2-@GBHZ. I need to have ordered a thing else. Gskill if you want to make me pleased let me return these to you and set me up with a much better set of DDR2 800 kit. I actually am disapointed and will purchase one thing else if I am not pleased with this kit. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with this kit. This is our basic DDR2-800 kit, so overclocking is not the greatest. Your initial kit is the HZ series, that is our overclocking series, so of course the outcomes are considerably better. If you are searching for high overclocks, you will want to invest in a high efficiency overclocking kit. The HZ kit is also 2GB ƒ x 1GB), so it is considerably easier to overclock and accomplish high outcomes. 2GB modules turn out to be more complicated and limited. Stable, Lasts, more than two years they lasted so far. It's only pc6400, but then again, if I'd wanted quicker, I would have bought faster. Installed it in my rig two years ago, came to check prices on acquiring yet another, and decided to write a assessment. Though its 65 now, I payed 39.99 two years ago, nonetheless runs like the day I bought them, positive there are faster chips, But I have by no means owned a a lot more trustworthy set of ram, as far as I see it g-skill has a permanent consumer.

Does Specifically what it is created to do. none Required some affordable memory to throw in a new HTPC. I had a motherboard and CPU. This worked ideal. 4GB is overkill for a HTPC but I got a good deal.

Pros, Pros, Pros... Um This little RAM set is definitely magnificent. Its been more than a year having them now on the standard settings, clocks, and voltages. Past week I was lastly in a position to get a Gigabyte motherboard to OC my E8400, 8800GT, and the Blue Beast RAM. Past week now with overclocking, no complications and little heat from each of them. I think everyone employing a DDR2 mobo, need to indefinitely have this RAM. Tis wonderful. The only con I suppose there is, is when I purchased this RAM it was priced at ๤.00, but but once again each sticks are working just as very good as the initial day they met my G41M-ES2H, now they're in my G31M-ES2L. Most likely not a con... Great RAM. If you're still employing an virtually ancient LGA775 board with DDR2 you need to acquire this set to last years and years.

Got two sets for a total of 8 gig. A small less expensive price back then. Vista 64 video editing with this RAM is why I kept this construct about for more than 2 years. None at all, very good price back then.Nonetheless hate my Vista 64 I purchased with this RAM back then. Refuse to acquire Win7 for the Vista traits and best dollar I paid for that (bad word censor). Bit as soon as at very high price & won't let it occur once more! Kuma Black Ed two.8mhz pumped up to 2.9 and identical temps. Easy 3.four and the Ram & CPU shows some significant heat. Updated BIOS so I could use 1066. Soon after reading half the reviews here, why bother. It's grandkid's gaming happiness with a small overclock with this RAM. Good lengthy lasting RAM for AMD technique if you don't jack the voltage too much.

The 2nd set continues to function without a flaw. Upon receipt of the original order, one stick was absolutely dead and the other right away failed memtest86. Location and configuration of the ram had been irrelevant. RMA'd the very first set, got a shiny new set about a week later. Memtested each, both passed with flying colours and continue to work months later without a hitch. 4Ǜ eggs due to DOA ram.
