Got these during the boxing week sale, so good ram for what I paid for them. Runs vista and high demanding games smooth. No complaints

I got this at boxing day for 95$. Works great with my GA-G31MX-S2 motherboard. I did not try to overclock it yet, but at default speed it is rock stable (ran mem86 for 24 hours without an error)

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
Cons:- Not the best overclocker.

Pros:+ Stable+ Only takes up two slots on the motherboard.
Comment:
I've been using these memory modules on a ASUS P5N32-E motherboard for two months and I'm very satisfied. It's been very stable so far (without overclocking).

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
Cons:none

Pros:price, quality
Comment:
these are wonderful sticks of ram, they overclock easily WITHOUT increasing the voltage (i can run 4-4-4-13 / 900MHz with 1.8V)however i'm running them at 710MHz to preserver my 1:1 ram timing (couldn't get my processor to run on a faster fsb)also, note that winxp 32bit doesn't see 4gbs of ram, grab a 64bit os to make use of it all, (however i don't come close to using up the 3.24gb that winxp 32bit can utilize)

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
Cons:- little overclocking headroom- they like high tras, trfc subtimings- watch out; some motherboards dont have high enough trfc to get this stable 45+ eg. asus commando highest goes is 42 (43 on auto)

Pros:- stable- does not require high voltage- they do not get hot at all, no extra cooling required.
Comment:
What can I say, great memory for the price. They are great for systems that can do 800-1000mhz. They can run tight at 800; 4-4-4-12. Im just sick of my d9's dieing every so many months, these are powerchip IC btw.

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
Cons:Overclock

Pros:4GB, timing, 800Mhz, take 2 memory slot
Comment:
Not much to say about them, they do what they are made for with the advertised specs (timing and voltage)Im very happy with them, actually they are better by far then my ultra expensive OCZ ATI 2GB DDR2-800 memory. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-09-07 08:14 PM
