1.35v See beneath Update on working with in the Asrock P67 Extreme 4 with i5-2500k--stable now at 1600 8-8-8-24 1.35v, exactly where wouldn't post at listed 1600 7-8-7-24 1.35v. Not positive if its the board or the memory, although this memory was on the supported list. But 1600 8-8-8-24 @ 1.35v isn't bad, even if its a hair below listed rating. Performed above expectations. Nice looking spreaders. Spreaders arent applied very well and do not come in contact with all components. I have it running at default specs on the following platform:MSI 890FXA GD70Phenom II x6 1075t4x2gb G.Skill EcoIt is stable at the rated defaults of 1.35v Ƒ.355 on my board). There is room for overclocking but I havent carried out a lot of work on it 񢄪 with looser timings at 1.5v is as far as I've gone therefore far but I havent hit any walls however). Though the spreaders arent attached very well, it is difficult to knock any points off the overall rating given the performance and value for this memory. Excellent bang for the buck!

Works, makes use of a lot much less power than typical 1.65v Couldn't get it stable at 1.35v Like one of the reviewers prior to me, I had to bump up the voltage a bit to get it to function... 1.40v and I'm rock solid, 1.35v and OS failed to install lol.Nevertheless four eggs, to me 1.4v is nevertheless really fine, most sticks are 1.65v so I'm nevertheless saving power. This is the only difficulty I've ever had with any G.Skill item, and to me it's quite a minor 1 to me so I will continue to use their RAM :) Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for the G.Skill obtain and evaluation. Please make certain BIOS settings are set properly, DRAM frequency set to DDR3-1600, tCL 7, tRCD 8, tRP 7, tRAS 24, Command Rate two, and voltage set to 1.35v. This is a wonderful set of RAM, at a wonderful price tag. Overall a really superior worth. When you take it's stock voltage and timings, and compare the value of this set w/ similar sets from other producers into consideration, it is easily one of the very best values to be found anyplace. This is the initially time I've ever utilized a G.Skill product, and I have to say I am impressed. It is rock solid when you uncover it's "sweet spot" w/ a bit of tinkering (see the "Cons" section), which, although a slight inconvenience, is far from a deal breaker for me. I haven't had a single memory error, or even the slightest hint of instability via all the method diagnostics, stability tests, and benchmarks I have run. There are some caveats to this glowing endorsement although.... There are two concerns that I've had w/ this RAM that makes me unable to give the highest rating, and although it could be a deal-breaker to some,I'm nonetheless very satisfied w/ the finish result... On initial boot the timings were 9-9-9-24 2N @ 1.5V So,if you acquire this RAM for an AMD chipset you will want to be comfortable w/ altering BIOS settings to get close to the advertised timings and voltage.I also couldn't get the program stable at the advertised 7-8-7-24 2N @ 1.35V...The method WOULD post, but as soon as Windows would start off to load, it would crash right out. This was very easily remedied by dialing points back a touch, and I was able to realize stability at 8-8-8-24 @ 1.4V.So, I wasn't in a position to get it stable @ the advertised settings, but I was in a position to get pretty close and there is still plenty of room to OC the RAM a bit. All points regarded as, I am fairly content w/ this RAM even though it isn't performing at the advertised specs. When you take the settings I was in a position to get them running stable at, and compare them to the competitors, they are still an fantastic worth. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerThank you for your G.Skill acquire and review. The maximum default normal for any DDR3 motherboard is DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 1.50V, meaning something above these specifications will will need to be manually configured. This is the reason why we often ask users to set memory settings in BIOS. As far as the timings, quite a few AMD motherboard BIOS have concerns with DDR3-1600 CL7. As extended as you use CL8, almost everything will run just fine. Low Power, Does 1600 properly. Can be over-clocked to 1800 if you pay attention. Not sufficient AMD motherboards support it's full speed rating of 7-8-7-24, so use 8-8-8-24 instead. Intel boards shouldn't have that difficulty. I applied it in the Gigabyte 790TXA-UD5 Motherboard as it was tested by Gigabyte. Its speed settings have to be set manually but can quickly be set to 1600. The voltage can be dropped to 1.4v if you don't over-clock it beyond the rated 1600 as it defaults to 1.5v

Performs as advertised and then some with no errors.Works wonderful at 1.35V consuming less energy although nonetheless offering lower latencies.Finest sinks that don't get caught on wire or flex when you deal with them correctly.Effortlessly slides below heatsinks that hog space up on the mainboard.Runs cool. I'll need to make some up, could not uncover any. G-Skill has been my 1st option in RAM. They had been the initially to take RAM efficiency into locations exactly where the major boys ignored like smaller and no sinks but still able to be overclocked with the very best. All my "skills" have performed flawlessly in 7 of the rigs I've built in the last five years. I run these 24ǝ with distributed processing where that are under continuous heat and stress. Several folks have had difficulties, sorry you are not able to see what these seriously do but there are a lot of components that play in to the equation. Energy Supplies and affordable mainboards will make any pair of RAM sticks suck, that is a reality.ASUS TD870, Phenom 1090T, OCZ500 PSU and 4Gs of GSkills.5 Stars (eggs) across the board on Top quality, Efficiency, Durability and Aesthetics.

The usual fast Newegg shipping. No booting concerns at all, even on the OEM Gigabyte f2 BIOS or the updated f6. They fit beneath the Noctua NH-D14 cooler with room to spare and, of course, are running cool beneath that monster. A fair price for low-voltage, high top quality RAM. You may well think that I really should have knocked an egg the rating for what is written below, but, I think it is wrong to be negative about a product when it's the buyer's fault for not being informed. I know sufficient to make up for a seller's "fluff". This RAM set itself at 1333 @ 1.536v @ 9-9-9-24, which is very good for me as I do video encoding, so tighter timings don't assist me. But you need to know that you don't get the advertised 1.35v unless you overclock to 1600, where your timings will be 7-8-7-24. I dropped the voltage in BIOS to 1.36 to so the additional voltage isn't having to be regulated. You must too.I do not know if this is accurate for other makes, but, for the GA-P67A-UD3P / i5-2500k combo, either enabling the XMP profile or OCing the RAM to 1600MHz, will automatically improve the CPU voltage to 1.221 (with a corresponding enhance in heat Ɩ degrees). This is NOT acceptable for me, so 1333MHz it is. But that is fine as I purchased ECO sticks for their low voltage and they are delivering what they promised. I get the speed I need raising the multiplier.

Low profile in the age of extremely space-consuming heat spreaders.Straight-up fast proper out of the box.7.9 WEI with no overclocking. I honestly couldn't think of one. With an MSI P67A-G45 motherboard, it initially reads as 1333, but a quick manual frequency alter set it to 1600 with no problems.Though I read about issues with the CM Hyper 212 heatsink/fan and particular memory sticks, these fit *just* underneath the attached fan.

I purchased this memory for my Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 mbd I just purchased due to the fact the 890 chipsets can deal with the lower voltage memory. The system was unstable running at 1600MHz and recommended timings so I let it run at 1333MHz which my AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE seems to truly like. Then I cranked the timings even tighter and it is performing just as quick with PC Wizard memory test as it was at 1600MHz until it became unstable. None, I mean definitely none. This is by far the finest Memory I have ever bought, it is running at 1.41V, 7 7 7 21 1T and several other memory settings tweaked even tighter, I ran many Mem Test instances along with Prime95 to maintain the CPU as pinned as the memory and it took it no issue. Have not even had a hint of instability with this system.

heard wonderful issues about the eco series but couldn't get my sticks to function I have a GA-H55M-USB3 mobo, and according to gigabyte's tested memory list, these really should function with the h55m-usb3 with a i5 750 lynnfield. I plugged them into two different h55m-usb3 and 2 distinct PSU, neither board would POST. Tried them 1 stick at a time at gigabyte's suggestion, still no go. It is a main bum deal for me. G.skill has usually produced top quality items. These ECO modules are no exception. I have these presently running at rated speed/voltage and they are as stable as you could ever want. The heat spreaders are a beautiful gunmetal color which match my MSI 790FX GD70 perfectly. They are low profile and do not interfere with any CPU heat sink I've attempted. Photos do not do them justice. With a little know how these timings are simply tightened up (which I prefer over higher Mhz). I've heard CL6 is reachable and with the brief time I've spent overclocking them so far I believe it.Price is great and though you may well never see any notable savings from the low voltages at stock timings much less voltage is constantly superior IMO. Wish they would scale a little better with voltage increases past 1.5v but still impressive to that point.Wish package didn't say "designed for Intel" or anything like that. This RAM works perfectly fine on my AMD platform (PII x4 955 BE + MSI 790fx GD70) and stating that the ram is developed for Intel can be misleading. I've read a quantity of reviews from people today who didn't purchase this in fear that it wouldn't work on an AMD set up and that is a shame. Also the non-eco-friendly packaging is type of an odd choice for eco-friendly ram. ;) Wonderful RAM, I adore playing around with these so far as they are unlike any other RAM I've utilized as far as overclocking is concerned. Make certain your mobo supports RAM voltages of 1.35v or below or this RAM will run at standard settings (which work fine and are also very stable). Thanks G.Skill you constantly produce awesome RAM and I am constantly much more than impressed with every obtain I make. Same goes for you Newegg (but that goes without saying!)

I bought this kit for my Sandy bridge setup. I looked for a few weeks comparing reviews and this kit seemed to be the best bang for the buck. They could not run at the specified 1.35 volts out of the box so I had to boost them up to 1.5v to get them stable at the standard settings. I currently have them overclocked and stable at 7-10-8-24 1T s2133MHz on my P8P67 Pro mobo. They were easy to oc up to that speed and are running at 1.65 volts. I'd recommend anyone with a dual channel mobo to pick these up! You won't be dissapointed.
