G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: None

Pros: Runs at specified specs and more! Very stable. These sticks are paired with a i5 760 and an Asus p7p55d-e pro.
Comment:
At first, I was curious of these sticks due to the low timings and low voltage. However, I was wrong and they work at what they were specified to work at. Excellent buy, highly recommended.

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: - It works better over 1.35V but it's still under the 1.65V other RAM sticks require.

Pros: - Good Price- Fast- Low voltage- Looks pretty cool
Comment:
For it's current price, it's definitely worth purchasing over its competitors. It's works quick, low voltages and the timing is better than its competitors. It looks amazing and the heatsink will not get in the way of a large aftermarket CPU heatsink.

For the price, this ram worked great. This is apart of my first build and it is incredible. I will plan to add another 4 gig in the future when my funds become available. I recommend this for your gaming pc builds in regards to the price of the product.

Cons: Will not run at specs on my amd x4 core BE cpu & Gigabyte UD3 890GX mobo.

Pros: Price, decent performance (will not run a specs but still works fine)
Comment:
As said in weakness, will not run at specs on my amd x4 core BE cpu & Gigabyte UD3 890GX mobo. (or at least i havent found the right numbers) Price is good however. Found better results from my mushkin ridgeback 1600 Mhz ram in my other computer. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-30-10 02:57 PM

Pros: Great speed, timings, price.
Comment:
Bought these with the intent of OCing my P7P55D-E and i5 760 and didn't want ram to limit the combo. Runs great at 7-7-8-24 1T at 1600 n 1.35V like advertised. Have been able to get them up to 1800 by adjusting timings when testing what each part could do! The low voltage is great to help keep your ram voltage less then 0.5 over the IMC voltage :)

Comment:
I've been running this memory at the advertised timings at 1333 MHz. However, I haven't tried tuning the settings. Since the heatsinks are low profiled, you can easily put a big aftermarket CPU cooler next to it without any problem. Good buy!

I hardly know how to set up ram but I took it in for service and they got it working perfectly! I may buy another set so I have 8GB of ram. I would assume I can just plug another 4GB in and it would work (no additional setup needed?)

Comment:
I think it's great that they can get this speed and class at only 1.35 volts. Jedec specs 1.5v to be the standard and many kits need 1.65 to run higher speeds and class. From a logical standpoint, I'm not sure why anyone would really want to run with a set of ram that has higher operating voltage unless they're going for overclocking crowns and the ram works perfectly out of the box at rated speed. For the rest of us this should be fine.I understand some websites have done tests and shown only a small saving in power 4-6 watts depending on system configs, but it just makes sense to use lower voltages at pretty much the same cost of other 4gb kits. I'd like to think they would have better headroom for overclocking because of the lower voltage, but I haven't tried yet nor have I seen websites indicate as much.

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: - Looks like I either haven't got a good sample or that it performs better on Intel systems as if I remember well I had trouble at stock DDR3-1600 with 1.35v but it was flawless at 7-8-7 with 1.40v. I also couldn't get to use 6-7-6 even at 1.50v in DDR3-1471 thought HardwareCanucks have been able to do it with much less voltage and little higher frequency.

Pros: - Nice look- Good price once price-matched, mostly considering timing/feq/voltage and the fact it's DDR3!
Comment:
Anyhow I'm still very happy that it works under the following scenarios:- DDR3-1600 7-8-7-24 1T 1.40v- DDR3-1471 6-8-6-24 1T 1.50v

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: -Picky on certain settings-RAM voltage on my mobo doesn't go below 1.6V (not the RAM's fault, but still :/)

Pros: -Great results after overclocking-Lots of overclocking headroom-Low-voltage kit-Works well on the AM3/790X platform with a 1055T-Low-profile heatspreaders allows this RAM to fit under most heatsinks.
Comment:
FAST! Stable too! I replaced my old Mushkins with this RAM and my system is so much better; I can now be stable at 4.1Ghz on my 1055T; my old RAM was preventing it. In addition, my old RAM couldn't run the rated 1600 CL8 (though it ran 1333 CL6 completely fine, I was forced to run 1200 CL5 due to RAM multiplier issues at 4Ghz+). The speed difference between my old and new RAM is very noticeable!Overclocking headroom is really good as well: I dropped the timings from 7-8-7-24 to 7-7-7-21 only to find instability; the same thing happened in the TechPowerUp review unless the RAM ran 750mhz, so I followed another review and tried different settings. I set my RAM to 6-8-6-24 and it ran at that without a hiccup - plus, there was, apparently, a noticeable speed increase in Windows 7 boot time! I now run this RAM at 1625mhz 6-8-6-24-30-1T 1.6V without a hiccup.Of course, however, my 790XT-UD4P cannot set RAM voltage below 1.6v. That's not a huge problem since I was going to be overclocking these anyway, but I could probably run my current settings with a bit less voltage.5/5 from me, will be buying another kit for 8GB as soon as I can afford it. Great RAM!

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: Not the best for raw clock speed.

Pros: Excellent timings.
Comment:
I used the Hardware Canucks review as my basis for what to expect, and thus knew they would fit my new AMD platform perfectly, since timings are more important on the AMD side. Leaving at the stock 1.5V, on my 890GX board I got the timings down to 6-7-6 and 1T at over 1400MHz (could get well over 1400MHz at those timings, but I was dialing in the CPU overclock). Great sticks. Can't complain.

Using these with my Asus Crosshair IV & 1090T x6 Black. Crosshair will see these as 9-9-9-24 1333hmz.But here's the good news. Running these d 6-6-6-15 1333mhz Prime95 Stable. 4x2gig for 8 gig total. The Crosshair will auto adjust the Volt for you if you want, but I have them set to 1.4v ish I think.I haven't tried to OC the Bus speed yet. Also, these are on the Crosshair IV's compatible list as well!

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: I don't think the planet is truly getting any healthier with these RAMs in my system. Companies should stop putting ECO on everything.

Pros: Relatively high frequency, pretty tight timing and really low voltage. What more can you ask for?
Comment:
I was skeptical at first because the frequency is pretty high and the timing is rather tight, at the same time its voltage is lower than the norm and is sold at a competitive price. Seem too good to be true right? Turned out it is! I ran the memory according to the specs for 4 months now on a fairly outdated board (DFI X48) and they simply worked as advertised.

it works with my AMD 790 board and athlon II x4 630 CPU. great memory over all. sadly at this point most rams are expensive otherwise i would have got two sets of them. definitely recommend them to everyone. by the way, these don't have the high heatsinks that might potentially collide with your cpu heatsink.

Cons: Did not use these sooner!

Pros: Stable, no snag QVL, should work on any Intel board.1.35v...very good at keeping systems low voltage which in turn helps stability and heat!
Comment:
The best ram kit I have used. This set is on an EVGA H55V, so although I can not run them at their rated speed due to BIOS limitations, it is without a doubt one of the best kits I have used. Not a blip on initial boot...which usually there is at least something to be adjusted on others. First G.Skill kit, and I can say, I will be back...however for performance I still go Mushkin...but for lower end, these are best as the voltage will help a budget systems stability and overall heat (1156 is voltage dependent on the processor, so lower is better and defiantly helps heat.

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons: Not the fault of the memory, but be aware that the Core i5 750 can't do 12x memory multiplier...

Pros: Low voltage, rock solid so far... looks good?
Comment:
Two of these for 8GB has so far been rock solid on my UD4P / i5 750 build so far. I use XMP to set the timings (7-8-7), and then manually set the base clock rate to 150 which results in the memory frequency at 1500Mhz. Unfortuantely the only way to get 1600 with the 750 (assuming you want to keep the 20x CPU multiplier) is to go to a base clock of 160 - which is a bit more of an agressive overclock (but still perfectly doable). Anyway that's a CPU issue and the RAM has been solid at whatever setting I've played around with, passing memtest after memtest. The only other override I changed in the BIOS was to set the memory voltage to 1.3V - otherwise it wants to run it at 1.5 by default. I thought maybe it would have to be set at 1.4, but it seems to like the 1.3 setting just fine.
