Quite good for my use. Not any difficulty. None Sorry in advance for the queries. I know some are going to cry or jump.I have a ASUS P7P55D-E Pro which accept 16GB DDR3 2200(O.C.)񳈰񳄥񳀚 and 2x2GB of this ram.I would like to add 1x4GB now and 1x4GB later. For price objectiveWhich a single ought to I take? I don't see the exact same model in 1x4GB. What is it that I have to be careful with when I pick?Is it actually going to be advantageous to have 2x2GB + 1x4GB?Thanks, G

Specifically as described. None truly if you use them as a pair and not with yet another set. Purchased to add to a technique with an older set of ripjaws with 7-7-7-24 timmings but the system would either not boot or would run at the slower timmings of these sticks Ɨ-eight-7-24) and benched slower than just with the older set. Can you say RMA? How about restocking fee! Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Ability buy and evaluation. We are sorry to hear this kit did not perform as well. In order to operate the identical specs, you will require the very same precise kit. Otherwise you would require to use the specifications of the lesser kit, or try to overclock it to the superior kit. G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Comment:
This RAM is incredibly rapid (once the timings are set correctly and it's run in dual-channel mode). The heat spreaders are really successful at maintaining it cool while helping it to appear cool as well. On getting the package, I was initially upset. The blister packaging noted the RAM was designed for Intel. This was a challenge as I have an ASRock M3A770DE (AMD AM3) mobo. No worries, although... plugged correct in and was recognized. This brings me to my only other complaint. My motherboard (with fully updated BIOS) auto-detected this RAM as getting a latency of 9 instead of 7. I had to manually set the correct timing. Even though quickly fixed, this could be somewhat tough for somebody with a reduce tech level. If you require some genuinely quick, seriously steady RAM... get these now.

7-8-7-18 1T timings are extremely doable.Heat spreaders only go up about 1ǚ" (fingernail length) above the actual chip so it wont hinder the use of aftermarket coolers.I am utilizing a Thermalright MUX 120 and the fan doesn't even come close to the ram chips. Value?

Blue heatspreaders appear so a lot much better in individual than in the stock pics. I have an ASUS AM3 mobo, and the metal is the exact same color as a chipset heatsink on the board, looks incredible.THE Picture SHOWS A GREEN PCB (BLECH) But The PCB is BLACK below the spreaders. It's a good added touch.Runs at advertised settings 7-eight-7-24 1600 no challenge on an OC'd unlocked 565. I had initially purchased a red g.skill9-9-9 kit, but when I saw these on sale, I had to get them. I'd spend complete cost, and if I ever want 8gb, I'll be obtaining this kit for certain. Absolutely none. G.Skill always comes by means of.Newegg, please fix the poor stock pics. Some folks seriously want a black PCB on the ram for aesthetics, and these provide, but the pics on the web site show green. Don't be afraid to get this kit with an AM3 make. Seems like all the excellent mem is 'designed for intel' but the AM3 specifics kits that I saw are nowhere close to as great as this kit. Don't be fooled. This is the kit you want. If you're new to G.Ability, take the plunge. My DDR2 was g.skill, and now my DDR3. If they keep up being this wonderful, I'll never purchase any other brand once again.Great performance, and I have to tension once more how awesome they look. The stock photographs make them look rather dull... but genuinely they are teh sexy.

The Ram Functions fantastic if it operates. RMA'd 1 set out three of these this year. Also had a CAS9 version of the Ripjaws and its fine too. RMA went smoothly. Mem test your sticks prior to you settle them in permanently. Made for an unstable over clock that frustrated me beyond belief. Just test your ram before you commence using it. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill buy and assessment. We apologize for the defective set, sadly this can come about due to the nature of memory products. Our RMA approach should be fast and smooth with minimal down time. For pc memory, generally test with the rated specifications to insure they can operate to what they have been produced for. If there is instability, test every single module individually to precisely decide regardless of whether there is a defective module. Numerous occasions it can be a configuration error, user error, incorrect slots, or such, so troubleshooting is needed to narrow down the exact issue. Compatible with Gigabyte H55M-UD2H motherboard Enabling XMP in the BIOS sets timings automaticallyLooks cool and can't beat the guarantee None My initial make, and with this memory, Intel i3 540, and Gigabyte mobo it went well. WEI memory result is only five.9 and I had expected higher, but my understanding is that considering that I used the 'on chip' i3 graphics, five.9 is the greatest you can do. So, this higher efficiency memory was possibly overkill with this technique unless/until I get a separate graphics card. I'm nonetheless glad I bought it though.

Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientThank you for your G.Skill purchase and critique. Glad to hear the memory is performing very effectively and stable in your laptop or computer. This is one of our most well-liked gaming kits, so you must be very satisfied with the results. Even though it is not 8GB, 4GB is enough for most games.
