Not bad...
Comment:
I replaced a 5 year old Intel 915GLV board with this one. It doesn't have an IDE connector so I couldn't connect my DVD burner but I was due for a new burner anyways! No PS2 mouse or keyboard ports so you'll need to use a USB mouse and keyboard or buy a PS2 to USB splitter like I did and it works great! I received the order quickly and it was easy to install. It fit like a glove. If I had to buy it again I probably wouldn't...I would buy one more ideal for gaming. It's great for HD applications so if you want a home theatre computer get this board!

Good Product
Comment:
I understand the fact that we have to move on be and be done with PATA (this board does not have an IDE interface) but it also does not have PS2 mouse and keyboard inputs, which was a surprise to me; so be ready to only use SATA and USB devices.

Awesome motherboard
Comment:
I received it 3 days after the order, though very poor packaging (no protection at all and was lose in the outer box). I was very glad to see that for once, the outer box wasn't damaged which means UPS took great care of it. The motherboard was easy to install, I plugged it in to the HDMI right away, and all worked perfectly till it came to the drivers installation... the driver cd for me was a pain cuz the setup didn't want to work, I had to install each driver individually. I also had to find a more up to date driver for the graphics card so I could get a 1080p resolution out of the 1080p tv (the old drivers did work perfectly with the 720 resolution tv). Overall, I'm very happy with the motherboard, I'm just not happy with the packaging for such an important component to a computer...

Comment:
This board performs as advertised. I needed a MicroATX board and wanted to go with an Intel Chipset and Processor. This replaced an HP,AMD prebuilt, but I wanted to reuse my RAM, Case etc. I am NOT a gamer and I saw a few people were unhappy with the Integrated Graphics. It works fine for a Home Theater computer. It meets all of my needs for years to come. Running Windows 7 with Core 2 2.66 Quad 6MB Cache. The only thing I do not like is that there are no PS2 slots for Keyboard and Mouse, USB only.

Great Upgrade Deal
Comment:
I replaced my 3 year old Intel D975XBXLKR board with the DG45ID to be compatible with Windows 7. I was able to use my existing processor and memory. Upgrade was quick and painless. Excellent 775 board! I highly recommend.

Excellent MoBo
Comment:
Perfect Mobo Pros: Does as advertised, runs full 8gb's OCZ 5-6-6 DDR 800mhz, looks perfect on 32in 720p RCA TV with HDMI and DVI (with VGA adapter), and excellent locations of SATA connectors and more. Cons: None Other: Had to update BIOS to newest version before it would run the full 8gb's of ram I have, but that's just common sence, as that's what BIOS updates are for; to constantly improve upon and already perfect design.

Used this one twice and would use again!
Comment:
I just finished building my second computer using this motherboard. The first was an HTPC, and my experience with the build was so good when I got ready to build a desktop, I said, why not? It went together smoothly and started up flawlessly. My only 'less than best' rating is for features. It doesn't have much room for expansion, and the lack of an ATA interface (it's all SATA) is a little bit of a downer, but for what I needed it was fine. The on-board video with HDMI is great. With a dual boot I have XP for word processing, bookkeeping, a little CAD and this and that (it's smokin') and Vista Ultimate 64-bit for playing Blu-Ray and such. I highly recommend it.

I especially love the S/PDIF connector . . .
Comment:
I chose this board to construct my Windows Media Center PC mainly because of the onboard connections. All 'flavors' are represented here. I especially love the S/PDIF connector for audio. Easy to snap together, well supported by Intel online (BIOS update was easiest I've ever experienced). Overall, I'm pleased. The only shortcoming I have and probably I'm asking too much is that if you install a PCI Express x16 board, it wipes out the onboard HDMI connector. I'm having challenges with an extended 2 monitor display and at the same time my LED TV. Any suggestions?

Only good thing is the value
Comment:
You get a lot for the price but it does not work I had to return it because the raid did not work at all. The HDMI did not work at all I tried it for 6 hours straight before I gave up the HDMI. I finally returned because I need Raid and no version of windows would work on this thing and on top of that the temperature of the CPU was in the 60C at all time even when idle.

HDMI doesnt work well with repeaters
Comment:
If you're using this in a home theater with video routed through an AVR, be wary. Even with the most recent drivers / firmware the performance through an AVR or any repeater is not acceptable as when you change sources to the HTPC, the HDMI will not always sync and you must reboot with the HTPC selected as the source.

Intel BOXDG45ID Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Comment:
This was bought to replace a Gateway POS motherboard. I had to install OS twice. It was my fault that I didn't check but will not run on all Core 2 Quad CPU's and of course the one I had wasn't supported so I had to get another. But the system has been running great.

Intel BOXDG45ID Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Comment:
This is the most frustrating board I have ever installed. I have decided to convert my PC into a HTPC and this board is perfect for the price and features: HDMI Out, Optical Out, IR/Remote Hookups & Onboard video. However it was the most difficult board I've ever installed. It took me 2 OS installs and 2 days before I had a stabalized system. I found through googling that a lot of experience pc builders had the same problems: mostly BIOS and driver interference. At a glance this is a great board, but once you dig deeper it has some flaws. It will not let you use the onboard video with a graphics card. I was hoping to use two DVI monitors with my card then hook up the HDMI to my 1080i 32'' LCD TV, but the graphics are crap. So basically if you're using multi-screen you need an after market card. Onboard is only good for one screen. If you purchase this good luck! Once you figure it all out though, it's not a bad system. However I wish I would have bought something else.

Board has all the key features and I cannot wait to use it!!! Unfortunately board failed to startup despite having working power supply and other components functioning fine- ZERO for QUALITY! Intel customer service was helpful but in the end the superior TigerDirect cusomter service led to a quick RMA transaction- I await my replacement board and will comment again.
