Pay attention to the details. This MB is as advertised: ''No Legacy Support''. RAID software comes on a floppy disk. Floppy Disk and ATA/IDE CD/DVD drives are not supported. No mouse or keyboard plug-ins. No VGA connection. It does have DVI video and USB support.

If you're building a new computer, you should get no less than this chipset. Especially at this price. This chipset makes the new 45nm chips scream, and the pci express section is twice as fast as previous generations. Until now, you had to spend significantly more for these features. If you are building a new PC, make sure your motherboard stacks up to this one before you spend too much for it. Were you to spend more on a moderately recent motherboard from the previous generation (with pci-express 1.0), and opted for a performance-oriented product, you probably won't get as much performance as you would out of this budget oriented product. Thanks Intel, for pushing the industry to new heights, setting the standards, and comming out with affordable products that meet them (the standards).
