overclocks so simple, straight to 3.3ghz 410fsb from 333fsp stock on stock volt's, bump volt's up really small to overclock a lot more (if good aftermarket cooler) brought life back into my socket 775 board i had running a E6400 ʃ.2Ghz a 53 percent overclock with, this is a noticable upgrade due to the fact i immediately overclocked this to 3.3ghz :D none! run's lil warm even with the low cost immediately after market cooler but in no way more than 62c so far when under complete load / i.e playing black op's! and i bought this to fix my issues my dual core had with black op's, and it did, run's smooth 100 percent of time now :D dropped this in a 32bit os of win7 and nevertheless notice the speed distinction from my previous fast dual core :D

My second core2quad. This thing screams. Worked proper out of the box, no troubles. None Comes with a cpu fan with installed thermal grease, but I purchased an aftermarket 1 rather. The included fan blows perpendicular to the board, which is nice if you want to use the air tube on the side of your case. However, I like to keep all the airflow in my case in one direction (front to back).

Works fantastic! Pretty zippy for the price. I do organization systems so I don't overclock. The installed fan height is shorter than earlier Duo processors. Makes it doable to use in smaller cases. Can't feel of any. I suppose it isn't an "i" series. Installed CPU in an MSI G41M4-F with 2 GB DDR2 800 memory, a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA Difficult Drive and a Lite-on 24X SATA DVD writer. Windows 7 Pro installed in 13 minutes such as the time to name the Computer and type in the license code. This was "power on" blank drive to Windows 7 Desktop.

I moved from a single core P4 to this little guy and haven't regreted it one bit. I know there are newer processors on the market, but I just necessary to breath some new life into my machine until I could afford a Sandy Bridge or the Top Secret Ivy Bridge supposedly coming out Q4 of this year. 5 minutes of down time and I have cut my video encodes down to one third of the time. Time is cash, and that was worth each and every penny. It is also good to have my processor temps drop by 20 deg. Following cooking me breakfast, it forgot to do the dishes. I would advise to a buddy. Not sure I would acquire once again, by that point, it's time for a new technique.

Fixed the bottleneck my old Core2Duo was experiencing when playing Bad Business two. That game will use all four cores, so it's nicely worth the upgrade if you need a performance boost in that game particularly, assuming your video card is up to date ;)Good cost-effective quad core cpu. Got it with an additional 10 off from a promo that was operating, which produced it competitive versus the Q8300.45nm, and running very cool and stable. If you're genuinely itching to hit 4Ghz, devote the extra money to get a Q9xxx series cpu. Did what I required it to. I was experiencing severe efficiency lag in Negative Corporation 2. This helped a ton, since that title in fact makes use of all four cores. Fairly a lot of use I may possibly add. It was eating up 60-70% of this cpu! But it runs smooth.

I bought this Processor to upgrade my E5200 Dual-Core Processor and Have scene some Massive differences! It's fast, works well when operating many Applications, and kicks a*s! When Rendering 1920x1080 Video, the Processor Reaches Really High temperatures. The Stock Heat sink and fan is also A joke. Had to use a separate 1 This is excellent for somebody who only Renders 1280x720 or lower Video. Overclocked to two.88 GHz

Amazing CPU, very good for the price and can be overclockable. I didn't like the stock cooler. It had those stupid push pins to attach it to the motherboard. Overclocked this CPU to three.4Ghz effortlessly!

Runs at 24C on stock clocks (with a xigmatek rifle cooler)!!! Too simply overclocked to 3.two GHz. Didn't even break 40C under 100% load. I don't see how the i7 2.66 quad is quicker. Perhaps it overclocks a little far more, but not for this price! two of the temp readers are stuck at 38C. They start out operating when they're hotter than that though. Not a biggie. I read that numerous CPU's have this issue. Doesn't have an effect on efficiency at ALL. Excellent overclocking capacity, 4 cores, wonderful cost. Initially create.

I shouldn't compare this CPU to any I've owned, becuase they were either pentium, core two or AMD. But, it out performs all of them I've had. Absolutely nothing I've done so far on the computer has taxed it's limits. Downloads is exactly where I see a massive difference. I'ts pricier than the dual cores, but woth it. It doesn't boot as fast as a Dual-Core E5400 Wolfdale two.7GHz LGA 775 65W. But that's modest potatoes.

It's an typical priced quad core, but the efficiency and overclocking headroom of this CPU is phenomenal. I bumped the clockspeed up to 3.6 Ghz 鸂 Mhz base clock) so it matches 1Ʌ ratio with DDR2 800 RAM (up to 900Mhz), with a minimal voltage change. It stays cool and stable by way of 24 hours of tension testing. It's no i7 but the motherboard and CPU and RAM combination are significantly more affordable for a performance difference I doubt I would notice with the games I play. With a Zalman 120mm CPU cooler and half a dozen case fans operating for air flow temps are about 24C idle and never move above 55C full load (Prime95) so I'm such a happy camper. When I built this PC RAM prices had been about 50% what they are now for 2x2GB DDR2, so the construct cost now is up by 40-50$, but that's why this comment is in other thoughts, mainly because it's really upsetting.

I purchased two of these for low-cost gaming PCs, they function excellent!
