Super quick thinking about the cost, runs as rapid as my older E8400 processor.Onboard graphics fine for workplace perform and HD video, no longer require a videocard. Runs cool, auto clock & voltages functions fine. The intel heatsink and fan operate quite effectively at spec speeds and voltages. Has memory speed limits with graphics turned on, cannot go above 1333effortlessly. The graphics and memory controller are on an older tech 45nm "add-on" die, have to wait for sandy bridge for complete 32nm integration. Employing for a little organization technique, havn't attempted overclocking. Seems incredibly steady at spec speeds.

Great bang for your buck. Fan is a small loud but absolutely nothing to complain about, low profile heat sink does well in my NSK1380 case. Keeps cool even under atrocious conditions. nadda. zip. zilch. even the onboard igp operates greater then i expected with newest drivers (intel's assistance internet-app even does the searching for updated drivers for you) This processor is a great instance of 'you get what you spend for.' I haven't bothered clocking it (htpc setup) but at stock speeds I've nothing to complain about

Greater L3 Cache and speed then a E8500. More affordable then a E8500 and functionality to Cost ratio is a lot greater. You can also take benefit of the DDR3 memory which the E8500 doesn't. (DDR2) If you are not seeking for a Quad Core or something also fancy, this CPU is for you. Runs all Programs and current games as of right now. The CPU runs extremely cool among 20-22C which is awesome for overclock potential. All round a excellent CPU for pretty a lot daily perform, school, and gaming. Graphic Rendering and editing is usually a downside to this but then once again most pc literates need to know to purchase a Quad-Core if they want to Graphic Render or Edit. This CPU is for you if you want to take benefit of the DDR3 Memory that you will need. I still personal my E8500 and the difference amongst this one and my E8500 is that my memory tends to make my laptop or computer efficiency run so significantly superior and I am capable to upgrade it to a reduce end I5 or I7. There are no other purpose to obtain this if you want to get the new Intel I Cores added to your laptop or computer. You won't be disappointed at all.

I don't have a lot money to buy greater processors so I can safely say this is the ideal processor I've ever had.Speed is very good. I haven't had several complications exactly where issues are also slow. I can't genuinely say too substantially much more.Intel's integrated graphics are not bad. They're aren't the ideal but they can handle most games well.It gets the job accomplished well. None. I place my (really) old graphics card in when I first installed my new motherboard. I later took it out and located out how nice the integrated graphics were compared to my old card.

Standard net browsing, picture viewing, film watching, and document editing and CPU meter within Windows 7 sidebar shows significantly less than 15% load. This CPU is way above my usage requirements. Intel doesn't fail to deliver.Pricing is good taking into consideration I don't need i5 and i7 functions Heatsink is smaller sized than Core 2 Duos but it's true, less heat is dissipated since it's a newer technologies, but even nevertheless, I favor larger HSF and if anything, possibly lower fan noise. 1080P HD runs smoothly

Good inexpensive route to go for building a media center Computer working with a single of the most recent chipsets. Keeps around 30 degrees celcius beneath idle with out of the box cooling. None When you are making a new Pc, decide on your board very first. Then dependent on which chipset you get choose your processor. The core i3, i5, and i7 are great selections in processor.

Worked as advertised, correct out of the box. Set up on new create HTPC with devoted graphics card and integrated heat pipe cooling remedy with Auto Fan, so heat sink/fan not utilized, nor graphics function of the CPU. Maintains great core temps, runs mainly silent, and performs nicely. Can't beat the price versus compatible I-five's costing twice as much. none New develop Shuttle SH55J2, Win7 Home Prem 64, 4GB Dual Channel DDR3-1333MHz, OCZ Vertex2 60GB SSD, Radeon HD4550 fanless cooling graphic card.

quite good price range processor, I employed this to build a dual boot hackintosh and it functions marvels, paired it with a GBYTE H55-USB3 MB and 4GB DDR3 Ram and it runs OS X like a dream heat sink that it comes with is pretty tiny, but you can still more than clock with it and keep the temperatures low (i dont advocate it although) purchased it for 100 dollars at a nearby pc retailer (checked newegg 1st although :D )MAKE Positive YOU GET A MOTHERBOARD THAT IS COMPATIBLE IF YOU WANT TO USE THE BUILT IN VIDEO!!

Does what it is supposed to do and it was on sale. It's not a Core I5/I7, but for the price tag and what this create was for, was a fantastic fit. Intel heat sinks are just plain worthless, but make a nice paperweight. Even if not overclocking, get a better heat sink. The Cooler Master Hyper N 520 is a good selection. This will help safeguard the memory controller which can fail due to overheating. So if you ever start off obtaining memory errors and BSOD, but your memory tests fine, it extremely well may be the processor's memory controller.

It is an i series chip. The speeds are great for an entry level chip like this. The price is appropriate. It is not an i5 or i7, but the cost is correct. I purchased an P7P55D-E Pro motherboard and this board will allow you to go to an i5 or i7 later on if you wish, so I will unload this chip when the rates drop on the i5/i7 chips.

Working with the EasyTune6 utility that comes with GIGABYTE's GA-H55M-S2H LGA 1156 Intel H55 motherboard plusG.Ability 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) I quickly overclocked to three.6GHz and the CPU was only at 73-75'F -20% boost w/o manual settings! Text so-so, but I assume people are more interested in HTPC use w/o a video card and it can do that.

Excellent for an HTPCExtremely quiet with stock heatsinkLow Power ConsumptionIt does anything I throw at it. Record two shows whilst playing a recorded show. Streams to my XBOX as a Media Extender and also utilizing PlayOn with no hiccups at all and video top quality as expected. Wonderful for Price. Built-In GPU when paired with H55/H57 chipset boards. I have trouble playing Bluray movies. You probably will want to get an independant GPU. My method takes a even though to boot, but this is an HTPC that runs as a DVR so it is hardly an challenge. For the price, I cant really take an egg off. I paired with a MSI H57M-ED65 LGA 1156 Intel H57 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard. It is easy for me to advise this setup to anyone.

low-cost, HT, trusted, 1156 socket with no issues, overall performance, higher overclocker, exellent selection from websurfing to a workhorse. intel didnt spend me to buy it, neweegg was out of stock had to appear else exactly where for the processor, only the second time in 8 years newegg didnt get my dough for tech equipment. one more on-line vendor had it in stock and less costly than newegg at present sells this processor @ 122.xx up from 114.xx @ the value adjust in the course of late Jan ཇ. its a excellent cpu avalible to be OC'ed like a champ and cost point per operate load this thing is a beast when yet another 60-180.xx + dollars are in equation.no question this is the very best entry level cpu there is, if your board supports i3, it supports all 1156 goods nuff stated.

CPU is good. Excellent efficiency and decent value. I've in no way been a fan of the turn-n-push attachment mechanism of the last handful of generations of intel heatsinks, but this a single requires poor design to the subsequent level. The heatsink has wires in fact touching the fan as it spins, creating a horrid buzzing noise. I pulled the wires totally out of the plastic retaining clips to silence it... now the fan hardly makes a sound. Why have the clips on it if they don't have sufficient room for the wires? I bought this for a budget box I built for my mother. If cost weren't a concern, I'd surely choose up a unique heatsink.

Pretty quickly. The new K0 stepping is supposed to be better OC at reduce voltages, which is what I got. For 贎 it's a fantastic alternative. None. For บ much more than the Pentium G6950 you get a greater clock speed, much more cache, and hyperthreading. This is easily rapidly adequate to justify the value, which isn't always correct. I am 95% sure my motherboard is holding my OC back some. I got to 3.6GHz, stable even at stock voltage, but can't go any larger with the motherboard's bus not stable beyond 157MHz..

Low Value, High Overall performance. What else could you want? :-)Stock cooler is additional than adequate for stock speeds, or even a light overclock, see below...Low energy consumption The constructed in HD graphics ought to be adequate for most men and women, definitly not for gamers though. Have been operating this little child for a number of months now, with certainly no troubles! I am operating O/C to 3.2Ghz, and with the stock cooler I idle at 31C, maxing out at 59C below pressure testing with Prime95... Can O/C mine to about 4.1, but it runs a little also hot on the stock cooler... Has been perfectly stable, performing graphics editing, video rendering, and some fairly high finish games...
