Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Comment:
good top quality style and fabrication. 3 of the four modules I purchased function perfectly as advertised. 1 module was DOA. It will expense me shipping expenses to get a replacement. Not very good! The cost was perfect, and I received bonus gifts with the buy. This would have been a excellent deal if not for the bad module.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Comment:
I managed to get it to run 1000, five-five-five-18. Excellent enough to put in my wife's personal computer, so I can use the four gig from hers to upgrade mine to 8 gig. 1st set DOA. 2nd set won't run above 1000. Also won't boot with fsb above 333.Don't have time to do an additional RMA and nonetheless get the rebate. Maybe by the it dies they'll have superior quality ram. 1st time I rxed RAM DOA. Identical personal computer ran gskill for over a year now @ 1087 with fsb 365. Surely not purchasing Kingston once again at any cost.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Comment:
I bought a new personal computer in December. I installed four gigs of corsair dominator memory. This memory was ok but i wanted to try Kingston. As soon as i put this memory in it changed my old personal computer score five.9 out of 7.9 to a 7.8 out of 7.9. I ran various applications to test its strength and it held up to almost everything. So far so good. I have not had any troubles. I would extremely recomend you to obtain this memory. NONE!! All ddr2 memory is type of high-priced so i would advise that you obtain a ddr3 motherboard. Performing this will save you income and will keep you up to date on new technologies.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons: Pricey but expected since DDR3 is the mainstream now.

Pros: Tall heat-spreaders to dissipate heat
Comment:
I bought these to install into a intel socket LGA775 board. Considering the price of ram nowadays it would probably be more cost-effective to get a cheap sub $50 board with DDR3 support and 4GB of $35 DDR3 ram than to buy this DDR2 ram.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons: A little on the expensive side and the heat spreaders are Very tall.

Pros: Great Ram! Does everything I want it too. Will Overclock nicely and you can lower timings on it and it will have no issues.
Comment:
I bought these for a HTPC that I didn't think was going to be getting much airflow and had a fair amount of heat and these guys worked like a dream. I wasn't happy that they cost more then DDR3 ram but they still deliver without an issue at all. Watch out! If you have a large cpu cooler the heat spreaders on these guys are HUGE! just keep it in mind.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:Huge heat sinks.

Pros:Good quality Ram.Runs Cool.
Comment:
The huge heat sinks is a positive and negative depending on if you have the room to accomadate these. Will not overclock higher then low 1100mhz as mentioned earlier, this is most 4Gb kits for that matter. If you want stability Kingston is always high on the list.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:if you have a small case or cpu hsf is too big, it might not fit in the slots you want

Pros:Nice and coolpretty fast
Comment:
when i opened the package to this thing, i was so surprised. the blue heatsinks on the ram was basically as long as the ram itself. I suppose that keeps them nice and cool. I was able to keep it running a bit overclocked (1100ish mhz) after i pumped up the voltages to the 2.2v that was recommended.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:tall heatsinks interferes with my vendetta II that faces horizontally. I can only put the ram into the 2nd slots

Pros:Stable, performs flawlessly at 1066, 5-5-5-15 at 2.2v as recommended
Comment:
Overall this ram has been super stable running at recommended settings. Performed flawlessly, the only problem is that it is too tall to sit in the first two slots on my mobo (asus m4a78-e) while having a vendetta II installed.

This set of ram is probably one of the best sets I have ever owned! Very reliable, no errors, and very overclockable. Will preform under normal voltage at higher rates speeds on most cases and will do more than you ask for! Best investment I have made in a while. Great looks, and very versatile. Best for testing other systems, and very durable! Awesome ram!

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:none

Pros:kingstonprice (64.99)

easy hits 1120, which for 2 gb sticks is not bad at all. Replaced some dominators i had, only because i had to RMS those sticks, and didnt want to wait. ended up keeping these anyway, as i was impressed. The heatsinks are huge though, and yes, they are as tall as the look in the pic. Way taller than my dominators.will definitely buy again. love these, love kingston.

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:*You will have to increase the voltage in bios to 2.2V if you want to achieve 5-5-5-15, otherwise you will be stuck with 5-5-5-18 at 1066Mhz.

Pros:*Big heatsinks means it runs very cool*Always seem to be on special at ncix*Look cool*Kingston is a well known brand

Get Memtest86+ from http://www.memtest.org/ if you want to tweak and test the stability of the timings, and burn to a bootable CD, and run overnight. At 800Mhz I tightened the timings to 4-4-4-12, though someone who knows what they are doing could probably do much better.Good review here;http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/hyperx8500/Datasheet for the ram here;http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KHX8500D2T1K2_4G.pdfI have 8GB of this Kingston RAM running very nicely in my ASUS P5Q Pro ATX LGA775 P45 DDR2 2PCI-E16 CrossFire 3PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN eSATA Motherboard.

Pros:Awesome memory, cool, o/c's very well. Worth the price!
Comment:
This memory replaced some G.Skill memory I had. The G.Skill was supposed to be 1066 but I was getting errors with it even just running at 800mhz. This kingston memory I have running at 1112 with ZERO errors. I can probably go higher but thats as high as my 9850BE will go, we will see what happens when the phenom II 940 I just ordered gets here :D

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB 2X2GB PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory
Cons:-Still 2.3V when most new DDR2 is 2.0-2.2V, as such runs hotter but ramsinks are huge and seem to dissipate heat well-More expensive than comparable kits

Pros:-Stable-Kingston quality and lifetime warranty-Low latency-Cool looking ramsinks (very tall though!)
Comment:
Bought these to replace my Ballistix after they failed for the third time. RAM is running great on my P5K Premium, had to force BIOS to the spec of the memory but that is common for PC-8500. Decided to go with Kingston because of personal experience with their other products. I'm glad I bought them.
