A great value if you need more ram, but check the specs on the motherboard the CAS of 5 on this ram will cause unstable performace if you use all 4 240pin slots. There is no problem if you use only 2.

I've puchased a few of these, only had one DOA. Caused all sorts of problems during a build. Once I figured out that it was this memory, everything went better after I replaced the memory with RAM that actually worked. Bummer is, it came in the Barebones Kit. Should have worked but didn't. The other Kingston RAM that I have purchesed has been fine, no issues.

The RAM worked wonders in upgrading my pc from 4 to 8 gigs although it did have one weird effect, it dropped my windows score from 5.5 to 5.0 in the memory effect. I've installed it correctly, but seems to no effect. But that has more to do with the pc, and less with the RAM. Great Ram, Great Price, go upgrade...

This was included in a barebones kit. What can you say? Works great, good price. I have bought Kingston for years. My problem now is getting Windows to recognize the full RAM I installed.

I had expected to pay more than I did for this pair of RAM knowing that they would have been a great value at twice the price. Kingston has always had quality products and this RAM is no exception. I've been using Kingston products for 17 years now and have never been dissatisfied yet.

I bought this with the barebones system, and this low profile RAM looks great. I was worried when I saw how close the RAM was to the processor, but with these DIMMs being low profile I won't need to worry. These things are rock solid, I have filled up 6 of the 8 gb of RAM these babys are offering and have had no errors. There isn't a heat sink, so I don't thing you should OC these.

No problems with it so far. Just need to update to a 64 bit because the XP 32 bit only detects 2.75 GB of the 4GB
