Soon after playing around in the settings I found that it is really uncomplicated to program keystrokes. This provides the mouse significantly flexibility for FPS games. The reality that you can set various profiles....one for each and every game if you desire is a massive plus. I like the choice to add weights....I get wound up gaming and the heavier mouse helps me. The read out for the DPI is also a bonus as I at times forget what setting I have clicked...lol. Seams a bit affordable. Loud mouse clicks as opposed to the MX-518. The choice to infinite scroll is useless to me. They count this as a button???? Longevity will figure out no matter if this was a intelligent purchase or not.

wanted a very good gaming mouse picked up this 1 and havent looked back. not a glitch but in it. all buttons and scroll work flawless. added weight cause it felt so light compared to my old intelliexplorer(not water resistant) i love the sensitivity adjustment. i set up every of the five points for diverse games and so on. just a terrific all around mouse. enter text here.

purchased this mouse when i bought my g110 keyboard and i love it works great no worrying about me throwing my mouse off the desk like others that i owned i have all the weights in it and it works awsome i really like the sensitivity adjustment.

Bought this on sale for $50, can't believe i didn't buy it before. The G500 is the best mouse ive ever used, has a great feel and a good heft if you put in all 4.5gram weights, i love it!

Mouse works wonderful. I submitted the rebate precisely as the rules dictated but it was denied anyway. Last time I will be fooled by newegg or logitech I comprehend the entire rebate method is a ploy, but I did submit every thing correctly and had my dollars stolen.

Similar to its predecessor the G5, the G500 has a excellent ergonomic shape that fits my hands perfectly and makes utilizing the mouse more enjoyable. The Teflon pads on the bottom give for a extremely smooth movement across most any surface and the laser sensor, is incredibly precise. The weight tray seems a small more affordable built than the 1 on the G5, delivering only six weight slots vs the eight that the G5 had. Not too big of a con as I really don't use the weights anyways. As other people have stated, the G5 mouse does appear to be a superior mouse overall but the G500 is a really superior mouse as nicely (I own both)

This is by far the most thorough mouse ive ever used, long usb cord and massive features, easy to understand on screen directions. THIS is the mouse to use for anything youve got to throw at it.

im not one to actually give my opinion on a product .... BUT this is the best mouse ive every bought and used. In short I LOVE IT! I even bought one for my wife and she loves it too. I would recommend this mouse to all my friends and family.

Love the adjustable weight. The top of the mouse is very smooth and the side has a rough stony feel which I like. I have sweaty hands but the mouse does not get sticky and dirty. Dropped it, pulled the cord, even spilled water on it. STILL WORKING!

This is a great mouse. It's well worth the money. The programmable buttons work really well with the online games that I've been playing. Fits my hand perfectly so there's no discomfort while playing games, especially for long periods of time. It's a great buy.

center wheel is to touchy when I barely touch it I would change weapons so I had to reprogram my games to switch weapons with another button, other than that a good mouse

This mouse fits my hand perferctly. Im a female gamer and I have hands not giant paws most guys have so its normaly hard for me to find a good gaming mouse that fits me

Just purchased one a few days ago. I am impressed with what it can do. Very fast shipping. I received it in 24 hours. Works great so far. I highly recommend for anyone, gamer or non-gamer, who wants a great mouse.

I ended up buying the M500 because the one I was looking for is almost impossible to find. I'm old-school enough that paying $60 or $70 for a mouse still seems like a very lot. But, in truth, I couldn't be happier. I love the adjustable weight, the laser is soooo responsive, and it does what a mouse should do: Respond so automatically you forget you're using your hand to direct the cursor. I have not used the great array of programmable buttons yet--maybe some day. But they are not troublesome--I don't accidentally press them when I'm using it normally. This is one of the very best, and worth it if you do the games.

Great mouse! Fits my hand better than anything I have tried and being able to put in heavy weights to make it feel more to my liking puts this one right over the top!

This is by far the best mouse I have ever purchased. The weights and grip make it fit my hand perfectly. I love the fly scroll wheel to fly through pages. Excellent for all my games.

I retired my old G5 (blue) mouse for this baby, and I can't think of anything bad to say about the G500. It feels way better to hold than the G5, more responsive, and more sensitive. While I can't really use the full 5700dpi on Call of Duty 4, the additional 600dpi I added on top of the G5's 2000dpi significantly improved my FPS skills with quicker (and more precise) aiming, and quick twitch turns. The top surface of the mouse is smooth and not textured as it looks in the picture, but the black sides are textured in a way that the mouse won't easily slip off your grip. All in all, a great mouse that I can highly recommend for PC gamers who want that extra edge.

Upgraded from my MX518 and the feel is very similar. Adjustable weights are nice, but not all that necessary. Nice textured feel on the sides and the buttons are all right where they need to be. Wireless mice are over rated. Did not come with a CD, so download the gaming mouse software from Logi's site and you are good to go.
