Good and quiet. Didn't feel much air flow but the system sits at 35 degrees under load, sooo it works well. Instructions are misleading which is why there are some bad ratings here. The little engraved arrows on the clips indicate the direction to rotate to UNCLIP the device, you only need to push them down in order to lock them into place. They hold very firm so long as you don't rotate them, and don't require a lot of force to push into place. Device is OEM size, same as intel fans, this is almost guaranteed to fit in any ATX case.

I have to concur with the previous reviews. It is a decent product, but they have *got* to change the way it mounts to the mobo. It took several tries to get the mounting clips to fasten solidly. Plus, it would be nice not to have to mess with heatsink compound. Also, the instructions aren't much help as they are brief and in pidgeon english. Once mounted, however, it seems to do a good job.

The mounting tabs seem flimsy. Only time will tell. Keeps the CPU reasonably cool. Thanks TD!

Not a fan of the clips that mount the cooler to the board. Im not sure how long they will last took some work to get one clip to stay locked down but all in all a good buy seems to keep everything cool enough for me.

No problems with installation at all. Keeps my Pentium D 3.0ghz at a cool 26 degrees celsius even with a small amount of overclocking. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The plastic clips that faten to the motherboard got brittle and broke after only a few hours of operation. The cooler works fine but I can't reccomend it until they fix the mounting clips.

I bought a fan like this but it is a see thru blue. This fan so far is keeping my intel pentium 4 3.2ghz at an average of 115 fº. Which my speedfan program i got says thats ok. This fan doesnt make a lot of noise. I really dont give a hoot about the noise though it doesnt bother me. I would reccomend tho getting a more powerful fan for a processer the same as mine.

Paired this Fan with a PD 805 2.66Mhz because everyone says they get hot. Keeps the CPU at 46F and that is just fine. Makes more noise that any other fan I have heard, but keeping the chip cool was #1 priority (and not paying too much). My install will be in closet and hard to hear from there.

While it kept the CPU moderately cool, it fails on many levels. First, the advertised noise level is 23.0 dBA. This is a complete lie. It is well over 30dBA and easily the loudest fan in my system. I removed the fan once to inspect the CPU, and one of the plastic clips simply fell apart. It broke. As I continued to attempt to replace the fan, more clips simply fell apart. The fan is now broken beyond use. What a worthless waste. Strongly recommend not buying this fan.

Hopefully this helps others install this fan. I too had issues at first trying to get this fan to install. Here's what I did to get the fan to stay attached. 1. Turn all 4 black plastic attachment screws (the ones with the arrow), in the direction of the arrow. I know this seems backwards 2. Use a small flat screwdriver to push down on the black attachment screw as you turn in the OPPOSITE direction of the arrow. As you're turning the black screw, look at the bottom of the motherboard to make sure the tip of the black screw is protruding through the motherboard and through the white plastic clip that is attached to the black screw. It may take a few tries and a fair amount of force but it should lock into place. 3. Repeat process with the other 3 black plastic attachment screws. Hopefully this helps. Once I figured this out, it only took a couple minutes to attach the fan. Prior to that, I had spent 20minutes trying to figure it out.

Very tricky to install. Scared that I was going to break my board. Had to tie back the power cord with a twist tie (Was getting in the way of the fan blades). Oh, did i mention that it's very tricky to install? I'd recommend paying a little more for a better fan.

This was a pain to get in, and now, it falls off every once in a while. Kept my CPU cool when it stayed on, but unfortunately they decided to save a few pennies on some cheap plastic clips, which makes this fan useless.

Great fan with a LOT of surface are on the heatsink! Installation was hard at first, but after I finally figured out that you are not supposed to turn the 4 locking pins to lock them in place, it was a breeze!!

I bought this fan thinking it would serve the purpose for my 3.46 Ghz processor and it kept running hot, about 41 degrees Celsius in a very cool room. I wasn't even running any applications either. I ended up spending five extra dollars for a fan made by Ultra and it runs ten degrees cooler.

Well, my customer gave me $1000 to build her a machine. Brought it back because of overheating. This Masscool CPU fan isn't doing the trick on the Pentium D 775 Prescott. Wish I could send it back. I DO NOT recommend this fan for this CPU

I built a computer for one of my friends and this is the cpu cooler he got for his system. The cooler was a pain to get on the board but now it's on it works great for his Intel Celeron D processor running at 3.46 GHz.

Works well with my 1.86 core 2. I'm using artic silver 5 thermal paste and I'm running at 43 degrees c while running halo 2. I also have my cpu overclocked at 2.5 ghz on top of all that! You really have to pay attention when installing it or else you could fail to clip it on right!

I guess the old adative is correct when it comes to this one, ''You get what you pay for.'' I purchased this fan to put on a Celeron D 360 3.46GHZ processor and it would not keep it cool. My computer kept rebooting and I could not even install a new OS. I do not recommend this fan for any processor over 3.0GHZ. And on top of that the plastic clips are really a bad idea. You almost have to break the things to mount the fan to the board. This is a bad design and needs to be put back on the drawing board.
