These boards operate well with Adata memory. I have not tried any other brand as of however, but I do have some wintec memory coming, but I don't see any issues. I have not built quite a few gameing machines so I am not certain about the overclocking potential of this board or what it is capable of in games. It makes a very good operating workplace system for the specs.

I like the 785 chipset normally - works fine right here. (to overclock my memory) even my ECS ic780 would do that...
