MSI 870A-G54 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
none for that price
Pros: good color, black and bluegood price8 pins power connector Comment:
I am pleased with this board, it's not really the best out there, however it's one of the cheapest with an 8pins plug for the price, maybe if NCIX would stock more asrock mobo I would have went with one of the same price/range. MSI does have good reputation for a board maker. This board is just until the am3+ are coming out and I replace. It's a solid purchase |

MSI 870A-G54 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
None so far.
Pros: Good specs for mid-range computer and a decent price. Comment:
I kept waiting for price to come down or for a sale, but I never saw one so I just bought after a couple of months. Seems to work pretty well with Phenom II CPU and everything works properly. |

MSI 870A-G54 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
None really
Pros: Good valueCrossfire Comment:
A good motherboard for its price. I chose to put in a Phenom II x4 955 and its working great so far. It's great that you can easily install a second video card in crossfire. I have no complaints. |

excellent board!
Comment:
My first new build in 8 years, and this board made it easy. A ton of great features for a very reasonable price. I would have liked firewire support and a third fan connector, but I was willing to overlook those with everything else this board offers. Also, unlocking a fourth core in my x3 was so easy I thought I must have been doing something wrong! |
vrm is not heatsinked. If you replace your stock cpu cooler which blows air onto the mobo this will fry the motherboard. Recommend you do not overclock either with this board. Highest failure rate when it comes to overclocking
