Simply overclocks and the heatsink and fans do a good job keeping the card cool. Cost to efficiency ratio is great. Great benchmarking numbers compared to other, more pricey, 460 gtx's. none Make sure you can fit it in your case.

Low price, really fans, painless installation been running two of these on my Abit IP35PRO with Windows 7 No concerns. Updated the NVIDIA drivers and the cards are working really nicely. Cards do not come with sli/crossfire connector cable--but they came with a several others (mini to full size HDMI, Digital to analog converter, jumpers for measuring voltage with your multimeter...throw those in the similar box you stored your Sli jumper that came with your motherboard and you'll be alright. One egg deduction for packaged videocard overclock software program not working (probably a Windows 7 problem)painful rebate method as usual. 2.4 ghz Intel Q6600 quad core, G0 stepping running at three.02 ghz rock solid, 800 watt energy supply, WD VRaptor, 6 Gigs ram

I'm reposting review, had this card three months now. Temps are low at stock and fan is really 30c to 50c . Oc to 880core񳏀vram stable with temps ranging from 50c to 70c on full load more than 24hrs.(don't ask) Wont do my laundry. Missing vram heatsinks (still clocks effectively though.) I got the one with the samsung vram not the new one out with the hynx memory. The hynx vram will run faster. BFBC2 medium particulars 80fps (sniper scope.) 20-30fps full scene complexity, with every single building blowing up. Averg 50fps with 32 men and women. Frag on.WoW cata (max particulars) 60fps(vsink) rock solid raid or group, only server side lag will drop fps. Empire total war (max particulars) 15fps to 30fps < thats great> . Lil choppy, but more than four amrys, Cpu lag.I put this factor in a gateway tiny box, with no fans. Side panel removed =D

Sweeet Machine!-Runs cool, idles and 33c as opposed to my gtx 260 which idled at 58c-Factory overclocked-All Aluminum housing-Runs games more quickly quieter and smoother than my gtx 260-Runs battlefeild BC2 at 1920x1200 fully maxed with 32x CSAA Antialiasing ;) 鵄 could only manage 4x)-Havent seen it go past 68c but CD package was wrinkled :O I am genuinely impressed that this card can max out BC2 entirely at huge resolutions and nonetheless preserve a constant 60fps with v-sync on. With out v-sync i frequntly see rates about 60-75fps.Some individuals say its flimsy, its genuinely not, quit attempting to break your computer parts individuals.Just for refernce, my pc case, Lian-Li PCB10 has horrible airflow considering that its a silent case and my temps are still low, but if you have a correct gaming case they must be even much better.I was worried about having poor airflow in my case but i guess its not an concern, this card gives heat the cold shoulder.

good card Mail in rebate shouldn't be ignored. Sent all the stuff in two months ago. haven't heard a word back. I did everything they asked me to, but still nothing. If you are going to offer you a mail in rebate for you merchandise you ought to at least honor it, or at the incredibly least tell me it was rejected. Not positive what happened here, but not likely to make future purchases with MSI. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Customer,“Please contact MSI customer service representative Tom at tomh@msi.com, or call Tom at 626-913-0828 ext 216 with your case details so we can check the rebate status. Wonderful cost with the rebate, runs rapidly and quietly. High overclock potential, MSI Afterburner works nicely with it. Beeps constantly, even soon after spending half of my ฮ rebate to send it back for an RMA. Whatever MSI did to it, it took like three weeks and still beeps. I am not happy about that at all. It's not just during gaming either. As I sort this proper now, it's randomly beeping. If you get this card and it doesn't beep, excellent for you. It's a keeper then. Otherwise, obtain something that doesn't sound like you're programming a microwave. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Customer,We would like to apologize for the concern you have experienced with this certain VGA. This card was surprising for the sale price, it has top notch performance(for the price). Its a bit expensive when not on sale, but the extra clocks and a cooler that will allow for even more clocks is always a good thing.

MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) N460GTX Hawk Video Card
Cons: Only 3yr warranty vs other manufacturers that have Lifetime

Pros: Super fast, very cool e 33c idle and MAX 55c full load with it overclocked.
Comment:
Overall this card is very fast and reliable so much so that i have ordered a 2nd one for SLI. I also have overclocked this card from 780 to 850mhz and the memory clock to 1900mhz and it is running very well. MSI Afterburner is very easy to use and monitor for cards performance (FPS, Fan Speed, Memory clock, Core Clock, Shader Clock and more). For the current price it is well worth it. In SLI these cards will beat a GTX 480 and almost come par with a GTX 580.

MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) N460GTX Hawk Video Card
Cons: does not OC as high as advertised, oc capabilities is a hit or miss.

Pros: Affordable, stays cool (2 fans), easily overclocks with afterburner.
Comment:
Bought this with a new sandybridge build. Was able to overclock to 850mhz + 2000mhz memory stable on furmark. Was able to score 17300 3dmark vantage with a 4.0ghz i5-2500k. Overall best bang for your buck card. If you compare it to higher end cards you might feel disappointed. But for under $200, you can't beat this.

MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) N460GTX Hawk Video Card
Cons: - Seems a bit pricey compared to other 1GB GTX460 models - at least on NCIX: $250 vs $179 pretty much everywhere else; I don't really know why this is the case.- Requires 2 6-pin power connectors.

Pros: - Got it for cheap at 179.99 with a further MIR to 164.99, pending delivery of the rebate. I hear nasty things about MSI's MIR program, but then again, what company doesn't have its share of bad feedback?- At $179.99, this makes the card a very attractive option, wedging itself between AMD's overclocked 6850s and stock 6870s in terms of performance and value.- And on the subject of value, the card comes with aggressive voltage tweaking options (none of which I'll touch), two adapters (mini-HDMI/HDMI, VGA/DVI), and features one of highest factory OCs available - perfect for users like me that don't care for tinkering.- Quiet at stock settings, slightly audible at load, and generally very cool. Twin Frozr II is one of the better out-of-the-box cooling solutions available.

Replaced my ancient Athlon 64-era PC, so the titles I've been catching up on aren't exactly state-of-the-art, system-thrashing games.
