can do every little thing but play highest good quality new games, plays games 4 years old perfectly on high resolution on 26" LCD, also connects to 50" sony tv and plays motion pictures and shows content effectively not going to play crysis for ี I have these in all my systems except my gaming machine, low power and cost - paired with 45W AMD processor its perfect for my often on inexpensive machine that uses no power, plays quake 3 maxed out and plays sim city four well with a hacked super significant map file (much substantially much bigger than can be produced with the plan itself)

Play the newer games nicely. 10.1 DirectX support, 512MB of VRam. Displays best (on the D-Sub and DVI port). Noiseless. Leaves you wanting a much better video card. Be concerned about it overheating all the time with no fan on it. Bought this not being aware of this was a PCI Express x16 card, causing me to obtain new ram and a motherboard. This card is excellent but if you could afford a greater card then get that. Other than that it gets the job done.

Fanless and silent, HDMI, VGA, DVI outputs, just suitable for a smaller HTPC. Not adequate power or cooling for high-end gaming, that's not its intended use. I put this card in a SFF Foxconn kit (that I got from newegg, of course). Following playing a blu ray movie the card reached a maximum temp of 118F, acceptable to me. Only needed for dual-monitor set-up and for playing HD motion pictures smoothly. Gets the job done fine on both (haven't tested with gaming considering that I'm not a gamer). Windows 7 recognized it with no difficulties, no compatibility problems. Seems to run cool. I'm a little worried simply because it's been more than a month now and I'm yet to get my rebate. Even so, MSI nevertheless has a couple far more weeks before I get too concerned. Worked nice for video on my old Dell GX-280 under Suse 11.2 Linux as soon as I loaded the drivers and rebooted. Major improvement more than the integrated graphics chip. But see the Cons section... Got too hot to touch in Dell GX 280 even with some creative ducting to get it a lot more airflow from the power provide fan. Wants a separate fan and there just isn't room to add 1 in that box so the card is going in the spares bin. With the lid open and a tiny fan it ran fairly cool so in a bigger case it must do well but a fan may be essential if it isn't in the existing airflow. DVI/HDMI low profile bracket nice, no matching VGA bracket in box so you go without having VGA or locate a bracket for a low profile case.
