Great software program, a lot much better than vista. No complaints about it. THIS IS AN OEM VERSION. This indicates that, if you buy this for your own use on your own individual laptop or computer, you are breaking the EULA. In truth, there is some confusion as to regardless of whether or not this version is even supposed to be sold to finish users. If you install this and decide to upgrade your motherboard down the line, this version will NO LONGER Function. YOU WILL HAVE TO Buy An additional COPY OF WINDOWS. NEWEGG DOES NOT SAY Anything ABOUT THIS.

Better than Vista. (Vista was a dog.) No assistance for pop3 e-mail. Will not share network drives unless the other computers are operating windows 7. (The flop Vista would.) Windows 7 did not incorporate photo and video apps. So far Windows XP is the winner.

few more bells and whistles than xp 32 Will not show any longer ram than win xp 32 bit AND is Considerably Greater RAM HOGNot enough memory for Decent gaming rig. At least Windows 7 64 bit shows up to 16 GB or more of ram based on your method create. Wish i had did additional investigation and bought the 64 bit version. Newegg ROCKS and it is my fault not theirs.

Reasonably stable and not practically as wonky as Vista. Still responds to a "dir" request in a command window. Ridiculously massive price for OEM copy. If I believed I could get drivers for new hardware on XP Pro I never ever would have spent the funds.

I believe Windows 7 does seem somewhat faster, specifically following Windows has booted up, but then again, I seriously don't do considerably on my Pc except for banking truly. I can blame myself somewhat for this due to the fact I purchased the professional OEM version, and I planned to upgrade w/ Windows 7 from Vista, nope.I didn't do sufficient analysis I guess, but it appears somewhat incorrect to me you have to purchase Windows 7 ultimate to upgrade from Windows Vista ultimate...so I had to do my Pc all over once more from scratch. The other dilemma I had was a weird one to me, and I have no idea how or why this occurred.I have 2 hard drives in my Computer, and when installing 7, I told it to install on C...even formatted the drive. Soon after Windows was installed I took the CD out, rebooted the Computer, but it wouldn't boot up.The message was can't uncover bootmgr. I spent a lot of time attempting to figure this out, but yet another weird one was it booted fine as long as the CD was in.I lastly started playing w/ bcdedit and got it to boot from C, but how that happened in the initial place I have no concept.

Finest price I could locate at the time. Earlier experience with upgrading a Dell Inspiron from Vista helped. Must have been a โ upgrade from any version of Vista, since Vista sucked so poor. I would say that Win7 is almost as great an experience as OS X Snow Leopard on a ModBook tablet from Axiotron. Almost all drivers are present: exception is the audio drivers you require to get from the maker's site. The on-screen keyboard is superior than Axiotron's. One drawback is that Win7 nonetheless appears to be slightly less repsonsive than OS X on the OS process level: e.g. copying files. Nonetheless, I am only working with the 32-bit version. Possibly Win7 in 64-bit is much better with this sort of thing. Upgrading from Vista to Win7 is a no-brainer on a Dell Inspiron 1500-series. Incredibly happy overall with Win7.

CLEAN!! quite clean efficiency and visually as well. Has the appear of Vista(no way around that) and the reliability of XP. I was able to acquire this OS early by means of my college in late September as of 10ቱ񳏉 none that i have run into. Have has 2 distinct motherboards and two distinct CPU's and have had an IDE HDD and it picked it up as expected. All in all as of appropriate now flawless OS. Does take a small acquiring used to if you are coming from XP, but its just receiving applied to where items are at and various lablelings and so on... Vista users must not have any troubles. Only troubles that i have had had been obtaining drivers, most Vista drivers do the trick and i am positive thatmore drivers will come readily available with the official release hits Gigabyte MA790X-UD4, AMD Phenom X3 8650 OC'd to two.84 right now), 4GB G.Skill DDR2 800(OC'd ideal now to 867), XFX GTS 250 1GB. Really like this OS. Built in ISO burner, recognized my new motherboard and CPU just as XP has done for me over the years with no difficulties.

Windows 7 is quite merely, oine of the finest merchandise that Microsoft has created. It is significantly additional basic and simple to user, unlike Vista, yet offers an improved simplicity like that of XP. Also contained most of the drivers I required to "Hit the road running." I just bootcamped this onto my MacBook Pro, and I need to say it runs flawlessly. Completely no lag at all, and it utilizes the far better graphics card on my Mac, the 9600M GT. Plus it has hyper-threading, and let's be honest, how can you argue with that, Even so the primary reson I purchased Win7 is mainly because I was using it to play games like UT3, GTA4, COD4 MW2 significant games, as you would anticipate it did it perfectly. Excellent operating technique, good job Microsoft. Although the OS might have hyper-threading, the video games only recognize two cores, rather than 4. Not much of a dilemma for me simply because I have the 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. When I was installing the OS, it was rather slow, but trust me...it's worth it. Significantly greater interface, gorgeous visuals, and simplicity...but I hate to break it to you, you might find some of these luxuries already on Mac. But my hat's off to Microsoft on this one!

Installs incredibly rapidly. No hassles, very few stops. I had the new hard drive and OS installed in under 30 min. I've installed each OS due to the fact three. and this is the ideal. This is the initial OEM OS I've installed and I tried for numerous hours to sign up with MS as a program builder in order to get the pre-installation software. Soon after various dead ends and frustration I just put the disk in the drive and fired it up. Uncomplicated pezzy after that. I attempt to do factors the way men and women ask, but when organizations like Microsoft make it incredibly tough to follow their rule, to heck with it. Newegg rocks solid. I'd spend more money if necessary to obtain from Newegg. But it is rarely required. Thanks

Windows 7 has been good to me! I must have picked up the last 32-bit batch before newegg ran out.Every program I have thrown at it appears to function fine: UDK, Blender 2.49c, Google Sketchup 8, AutoCAD 2008 and a lot more none but My old scanner drivers would not install, so I tried out the Windows XP virtualization and it works excellent.

For those of you who want what Windows 7 has to offer you but don't want to, or can't go 64 bit, then 32bit is your ideal chance. 32 bit, with the exact same restrictions of RAM that any version of XP has but that's not definitely a con. If you want much more RAM then you need to be acquiring 64 bit and developing a system that can manage that... A person else reviewed that it had the same restrictions as XP exactly where RAM is concerned. Yes that is true. In fact all 32 bit versions of Windows 7 have that restriction because of the way a 32 bit program works. If your existing system can't run 64 bit it is time to upgrade or quit whining.

I have rode that free-ride RC program pretty much up to the end now. Time to obtain Windows 7 Pro. Plenty of good capabilities and the new interface was incredibly straightforward to find out. Runs effectively enough on intermediate hardware to appreciate the Aero expertise. Even running Win 7 RC on a socket 754, A64 3700+, 2GB ram, x1650 video with 512mb ram as a SOHO, world wide web PC. Does pretty effectively with the Aero interface. Bottom line: I like this Windows version. Does not run several older software and games, even in compatibility mode. The workplace kind apps, properly those I just upgraded to newer versions. But, some of the older games that I nonetheless take pleasure in. I had to dual-boot a PC so I could nonetheless run them on Win XP pro. I've observed the price fairly high at some locations. I really feel it really should be less expensive. Occasionally I do feel Win 7 interface has been overly dumbed down for the masses, nonetheless I think it's good OS. Worth acquiring if you can locate it for a reasonable price.

Cons:Not all previous peripherals are supported.

Pros:Intuitve Interface, Much More secure then previous versions, Stable
Comment:
This is probably the best version of Windows I've ever used. I started with the Beta then the RC and now I use this version.I think most Home users could probably save some money and go with the Home Premium version. I personally wanted the Remote Desktop so I needed to go with the Proffesional. I'd also recomend going with the 64 bit version unless of course you have software that won't run on it.

From Vista to Windows 7
Comment:
My Dell laptop with Vista would crash almost every time I tried to run multiple applications; it was not only frustrating, but also sometimes infurating. After reading the reviews here, I purchased Windows 7 and did a clean install (I didn't mess with the upgrade). I've been using 7 for about a month now and have not had a single crash. The new OS is stable, reliable, and quite frankly a joy to use again. If you are experiencing problems with your current OS, upgrade to 7 and relax.

BEST Operating System yet!
Comment:
People have said a lot of bad things about Vista, and are now saying the same about Windows 7. Windows 7 is the BEST OS ever built by MS. People might have problems 'upgrading' but the best way to instal an OS is by a CLEAN install. For me, it was FLAWLESS - installed in under 15 minutes and was just about ready to go from there. I was SHOCKED! Shuts down in less than 10 seconds, boots up SUPER FAST! All my programs run extremely well and stable! The features are second-to-none! I would reccomend this OS to everyone. And remember to always do a 'CLEAN INSTALL' for a flawless installation!

In my opinion. they got it right this time. I gave four stars on features because of some minor but annoying things such as the shut down sleep button. It's easy to click shut down when you actually intended to hit sleep. Also some shut down freezes that are mentioned a plenty by many others. I have win 7 32 bit pro on thge laptop and win 7 64 bit pro on desktop. Vista and XP are gone. Cheers, pkw
