its usesfull and it looks genuinely cool. its effortless to set up and use. the display is quite low high quality. you have to be in a actually excellent position inorder to see all the numbers properly. its a poor display. it also doesnt controll all the fans, i was only able to get 1 fan out of the four i had pluged in and with 4 pluged in it only detected 3 of them.

All in all this is a very good fan controller, and for a huge screen and high quality aluminum construction for $70, you can't go wrong!

Works wonderful at controlling five fans. Viewing angle is non existent. You have to be seeking straight at the panel to be able to view it. Tape to hold thermal probes is really weak.

Looks quite good Doesn't control fans really well, temp alarm goes off randomly when turned off, screen died three months after getting installed. Un fortunate, I had high hopes following reading the other bad evaluations and its the sweetest seeking fan controller, but it doesn't do what is supposed to and just poor high quality. Looks good and has alot of nice features.but does not function in all attributes. Unable to obtain much more than 800RPM on fans two,3,& 4 in manual or auto mode. Poor Q.C. on board and wireing. Would not purchase yet another unit.

Looks good, large time/date display, auto/manual modes, temperature sensors and alarm, fan speed monitors. Finally figured out that this product was the source of the random beeps that came from my tower. When the panel would emit a beep, all of the fans connected to it would hit max RPMs and then slowly spin down. Panel's screen died in less than six months of ownership. I had read a number of reviews of this product, and a lot of them were negative. I decided I would give them a shot anyway. I learned my lesson, regrettably. ์ wasted. PLEASE do not make the identical mistake I did. Avoid this product!

- Looks incredibly nice. - Control up to five fans.- Temperature readouts are a plus.- Blue/Black matched my case theme.- Time/Date is nice when it works (see below). - Wires don't reach all the way where I want to in my atx factor HAF X.- Viewing angle is great when you're searching at it straight on, but it has a low viewing angle everywhere else.- The channels only deliver four watts of power every, the unit beeps just about every time I turn it on since I assume my 200mm case fans pull too a lot juice; it doesn't report the fan speeds for those fans even though they're spinning.- Battery that was supplied appears to be troublesome, the unit won't retain the time/date details and gets reset about each fourth startup or so. You in all probability won't locate one more fan controller that looks this nice. It gets an egg for looks, 1 for five fan control, and one more for the temperature readout. Nonetheless, I'm almost certainly going to return the unit due to the fact it's too weak for my utilizes, truly is a shame.

Great fan controller, lots of connectors for fans The display became damaged after much less than two months of ownership, the temp and speed are completely unreadable. Also, it beeps a couple times a day due to the fact it thinks it's lost a fan (through they're all spinning fine). Manufacturer Response:Thank you for buying a item from NZXT. Very nice, temps are accurate and well protected in a plastic tubing on the end. Controls fans to a limit I.E. 700 rpm fans can run from 700-500rpm or off.Haven't tried with anything that does over 700rpm yet.Would recommend even if you have a software controlled fan controller, this is just easier and looks sweet.Buy one if you PC is load or if you have lots of fans.

very good looking fan controller.nice black mat finish, it looks great on most black computer cases (mine is coolermaster cosmos S)it does what its supposed to do.

This is one of the best controllers i've used. It has accurate temperature readings and fan speeds. Cables are of adequate length allowing you to properly place you thermometers. Easy o set up. Highly recommended

I bought this check speed of my fans as sometimes I need to increase speed of the fans on intensive applications. I have yet to have any problems. It was easy to install. It was better than expected when I first saw it.

The temps are right on when I check with my IR meter. The fan control part of it is great. I only have it controling 3 fans at this moment due to I only have 4 total one is for the CPU and it is Mother Board controled. Had it since January 2010 clock on it is been great display looks cool in my Cool Master case. I delt with Arvid and he sugjested this to me as a controler. Was going to get just a analog contoler one for the back of the case but this looks great in here all my friends want one.

I just bench tested this fan controller, and it looks, and performs beautifully! The faceplate is made of die cast aluminum, NOT plastic, like most other fan controllers. The LCD display is hi quality, and bright enough to light up my computer room, when I switched off the lights, during the test. I did note, that I could only get 700 RPM out of my 230mm fans, and I think they max out at around 900 RPM. however my case will have two of the four fans running directly off the PSU, so it's no big deal to me. Thanks.

Channels 1 & 2 would not drive fans (rated at 1400 and 2100 rpm) above 800 and 1000 rpm respectively. Looks great in case...if only it worked as well. RMA'd it. Posed problems at EVGA forums.

I sent this one back. The Sentry LX does not like the 200 mm fans in the (922 HAF). & some problems with the Noctua fans. To get full control back of all 5 fans,i have to push the reset button all the time when i first turn it on. Their TEC told its because of the low RPM with cooler master fans. But the Noctua fans have high RPMs. I had the Sentry 2. It worked with both types of fans.

Seems to be pretty accurate, I dont know if I needed another clock or not with the one on my screen! Well looks awsome thats all that counts right? all kidding aside it is well built and operates as advertised.

some reviews said that the tape could have been better, like a duct tape or something maybe; for me, it's okay, there's a reason for the tapes design. Overall, love the unit and would buy another one when i needed more. looks great and performs well as intended.

Looks extremely cool. However, I have an Antec 900 case and the case fans ARE NOT compatible. They have only 2 wires, hence no rpm monitoring. I have changed the 120mm fans for Thermaltake ones but I cannot find a 200mm fan that will fit and has an rpm wire. You can rewire that big fan but the Sentry will not show rpm data. The LCD screen could be of better quality (but then it would cost more!).

Well, it does look nice in your case. (mine's haf 922)... my only problem with this is that it ruined my cable management... im still thinking of how am i going to re-organize my cables... and, it does show you the fan's temp, but its not accurate. and for some reason, even though i set the fan speed control to manual, the fan speed keeps going back to default, LOL... (maybe i just pressed something wrong) im going to give this fan controller 3.5 stars or 4 cause theres no 3.5 lol... because they could've added more stickies and should've longer cables...anything else is awesome :D
