Works great, good solid slot demensions.
Comment:
I owned a Roswill multimedia card reader, lasted me only 3 months before I began having problems with intermittent connections at the slot due to poor slot deminsions. Purchased this model and right away noticed the precision fit of the slot to the media cards. It is much better. The slot fit is alot more precise prevented inserting a card upside down. The performance of this unit thus is alot better than thr Roswill. No problems with installation of any of its functions. These items are throw away products and are not worth the effort to even consider a warranty on them unless they are the higher end models. This one works and is used daily.

Can't be beat for the money
Comment:
Unfortunately I had to RMA my first one due to inability to read compact flash. The second one however is working like a champ. Reads my Sony Memory Stick, Compack Flash, and SD cards without issue. Does what it's supposed to, and that's allow me to transfer media to my computer faster than through my camera's.

Good card reader
Comment:
The only thing I don't like is that it puts 4 drives in My Computer that are always there, so if you put in a card you can't be sure which drive it comes up in. But it is very fast and reliable, haven't had any problems with setting it up or using it so far. Good deal for the price.

Title says it all. Took more time to move my case from under my desk than to install the reader.

Good product for the money

Easy installation; just plug one cable on the motherboard and presto! Worked with no problems. The highest memory card I have is a 4Gig and it work fine. Memory card readers and USB port work with no problem in Ubuntu Linux and Windows.

Good value.

Bought this to round out my first computer build last month. Super easy to install and gave it just one test run so far. Worked fine and it's nice to have it in your computer and not getting in the way like an external card reader.

Better than Ultra
Comment:
I have used both this brand and ultra brand card readers. The fact that the card need to be inserted upside down. (Pins contacts facing up) helps if you live in an area with dust and dirt in the air. The contact points being on top help heep the dust off when you insert a card. Always shoot a bit of canned air into any card reader before using is you live in extreme dusty areas.

PowerUp Internal All-in-One Flash/Card Reader with 2.0 USB Port in Black or White

This was extremely easy to install in an existing 3.5'' internal drive bay. The computer recognized it instantly upon bootup, and it worked the first time I tried to insert a memory card. I love this thing! What are you waiting for? Buy it!

Comment:
Excellent 3.5'' card reader. Works great. No problems. This will NOT work in a 5.25 drive bay (like CD-ROM Size) - it is designed to go in the un-used 3.5'' bay that once was used for 3.5'' floppy drives.

Instal was a breeze... Had no problem recognizing the unit... Found an old floppy and tested the drive, tested the SD slot, and used the USB ports... Dont have any other media to test so can't vouch for the other slots... Oh yeah, the SD I used was 2G, so not sure if it will detect the larger cards 16G...

PowerUp Internal All-in-One Flash/Card Reader with 2.0 USB Port in Black or White
Comment:
Pros: This card reader is among the best and fastest for it's price; which you can't beat. There aren't many other readers out there that will support as many different types of media and work at the media's max transfer rate like this one. On top of that, the mounting screws and 2 color faceplates supplied is a plus, so I know if I were to build another with this I will have everything I need. Very easy to install. Cons: as a writer - not the best as far as speed goes, but definitely worth more than you pay for. And in a few of the PC's I've tested this on, it seems to have a USB issues where if you clicked on 'Safely Remove Hardware' (as for removable or external devices), it gets stuck in the 'device is prepared for removal' state and won't come back with a restart of the computer; you have to physically detach and re-attach the device from the M/B for it to work again.

PowerUp Internal All-in-One Flash/Card Reader with 2.0 USB Port in Black or White
Comment:
Have tested this media reader with all memories. All work up to 16Gb. of storage, no more. The usb drive works with as much of Gigabytes as available for usb drive. Great product. For it to work correctly and to it's full performance must be installed to USB 1 on motherboard. If USB 2,3 etc. will run as a slave and won't read a memory with more than 4Gb. Functions will be limited. Will recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot on a basic media card reader.

My 24'' Dell Monitor has a built in card reader but would not read all the SD cards I use. So I replaced it with this unit and it is perfect. I bought it for the looks and got great performance too.Plug and Play.

Does what is attended. but the only problem i have is when u plug something into the usb port it has on the front the computer will recognize it at first then about 30 seconds later i get a message saying usb device not recognized. other then that its a great card reader it transfers fast. and anther thing i don't like is it reads each different cards as a drive it does not recognize it as a card reader more like a drive because i got 4 new drives on my my computer for the 4 different slots.

PowerUp Internal All-in-One Flash/Card Reader with 2.0 USB Port in Black or White
Comment:
I bought the two-pack and installed one in my machine, one in my son's machine. I use XP-SP2, he uses XP-SP1. On both machines the unit was detected on system boot and installed properly with no problems. You will see four additional removable RAM drives appear in your system. Note that SD cards are inserted ''upside down''. I tested these units with two different memory card types and USB flash drives, no problems at all. Be sure you have the standard 9-pin (4 and 5) connector available on the motherboard or other card. Recommended.

I'm on my second one and it still doesn't work correctly. Every card will work great except for SD. When I put an SD card in it can take anywhere from 2-10 minutes for the drive to actually start working. Any of the other slots work almost instantly. Unit was already replaced, and it looks like I'm just gonna get a different brand now.

Fine little box. Installs easily but make sure your computer has an open USB. I had to disconnect one in order to use this. It works well with my camera's micro drive as well as with the SD cards.
