So far, so good - it hooked up and installed with no problems. Have only tried the SD slot thus far, but it worked as expected - flawlessly. At first I had thought it malfunctioning, but then realized I did not insert it fully, once done - it was great.

I've read a few reviews where people say that it doesn't support XD memory, but I saw it is advertised to support it. I bought it, and easily hooked it up, turned on the computer and popped in the XD (it goes in upside down in the lower left slot) and after waiting about 20 seconds, it opened up. Not sure why it was slow to be recognized, but it does work. The reading of the data was fast. It was only slow at recognizing when you insert a card. Definitely worth the price.

Works great. Took about 5 minutes to install (tooless drive bays) and was reading from my SD cards right away. I am dual booting with XP pro and XP Home and it works with both. HOT TIP: At the time of this review TD has a deal with two of these for $19.99. lOOK TO THE RIGHT OF THE GREEN ''ADD TO CART'' BUTTON NEAR THE TOP OF THE PAGE AND THEN DOWN A LITTLE BIT.

Easy install. I use xp and had no problems with card reader being recognized. Very pleased with the card reader. I've found that you need to make sure the media cards are firmly and correctly inserted into the slots.

GREAT CARD READER AND XD CARDS DO WORK IN THE SMC SLOT BY INSERTING THEM UPSIDE DOWN IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE THE CUT OUT FOR THEM THANKS TIGER MIKIEDATA

Great looking unit all ports work with XP BUT unable to insert XD memory cards from camera to any of the slots most are too wide or too narrow for the XD type flash cards. For an all in 1 reader it leaves a lot to be desired

crappy....got 3 1-compac flash did not work2-smart did not work-3-worked. failure rate 2 out of 3 bad......Guess you get what you pay for. cheap product

Nice little memory card reader. A steal for the price. It's a bit slow considering that it's USB 2.0 and if there's a memory card inserted, you cannot close your computer's door. Oh, and the mounts didn't exactly line up with my case but that's a minor complaint. Otherwise, it's a perfectly fine memory card reader and could read every type of card I could throw at it.

Will not read an SD card larger than 1gb. Otherwise, it works fine.
