Indicator light comes on indicating that the card is inserted but the drive will not read. If I put the micro in an SD adapter and insert in that sl;ot it reads fine. It has the microSD reader which is fairly sweet The USB port pushed all the way in to the casing so you can't use it any longer. The red light is super annoying.
