Worked perfectly from day 1, and I've had it for about 8 months now. When I installed it, I was operating Vista 32 bit and now I'm working with it with Windows 7 pro 64 bit. It operates in Windows 7 with no getting to install drivers. None In windows 7 these won't show up with the rest of your drives till you plug a thing into one particular of the ports, or choose "show hidden files". This is not a major deal. Inexpensive, reads cards, gives a different USB port, very good cable to attach to USB header. The red light is Generally on if the personal computer is on. It is sort of difficult to get SD cards into the thing (tight), but it reads them okay. I can't comment on its functionality at this time When it arrived it has some sort of plastic attached to its sides. It performs completely with my W7 technique, for the most component. It feels sturdy, and looks excellent in my case. My SD slot isnt operating. The light will light up when inserted, but windows wont recognize it. This appears to be my only dilemma. Ive tested the USB, mSD, XD, and MS slots and they all function totally. Its just my SD slot.

It supports all the cards that I don't use! Fitment is genuinely tight. You need to have to use forcepower and be dead on accurate when you try to stick a card in the reader. Only lets you use a single card at a time. I don't like the truth that its incredibly shallow. A compact flash only goes in about 1Ǟth its size and that's it. I guess that may well just be a private preference.

It's inexpensive. It functions. Didn't lock in place really well. Didn't match my USB slot on my motherboard with no a little modification. For only ผ, you can't be also picky. This card reader worked fine once I got it installed. I actually like how a device icon only shows up below my personal computer when there's a card in a slot. Otherwise, it hides in the background. This was a plus for me. It seriously didn't appear like it fit effectively in the 3.5" floppy slot in my case. Doesn't really look to lock in spot. The only genuine complaint I had was with the USB 2. connector on it. It did NOT fit into the slot on my motherboard. I had to take a file and shave down the sides of the connector a small bit. Very odd. But as soon as I did, it connected fine and I've had no problems with it.

Affordable, functional There is a red light that is on consistently, unless the computer is turned off. Not a real challenge, but can be slightly annoying. I honestly haven't applied it that considerably. Tested to see if it performs, and it did. I only need to have it for occasional photo <-> sd/mmc card stuff. Functions for my purposes.
