I use Linux Ubuntu and this worked right out of the box. I didn't have to instal any software. Just plug and play. And the fact I onlt paid $15 for it made it even better!

bought 2 of these just as expected no more no less did seem a bit sluggish but went to site and downloaded drivers from there - seems to have solved the problem - definately would purchase again if needed - great value coupled with tigers quick shipping

I used this on a Dell dimension 3000 desktop. It worked okay but sometimes couldn't receive signal when I just purchased. After 5 months, it works terribly. It loses signal frequently and really pisses me off especially when I download something or make a payment. Finally, I got another brand of usb wireless adapter and it works perfectly compared to this item.

Got this adapter so I wouldn't have to rewire my phone line. Installation was extremely easy (put the CD in to install drivers, then pluged adapter into a USB port and have been up and running every since). As far as range, my transmitter is in the same room, but have also picked up my neighbors signal (at half power) from across the street. Would recommend this Wireless Adapter to anyone!

Disable your land-line and plug it in and away you go if you need security do that the router. Wi-Fi is great. Works out of the box and comes with software Windows7 has issues with this so you will need to run as XP with Adimistrator logged-in.

Actually this is just one of several products I have purchased from this manufacturer. They put out very high quality and inexpensive stuff. The USB network adapter is no exception. This adapter is worth its weight in gold. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, is easy to install, and operates without any problems or issues. Buy it! you'll like it!

For 15 bucks you get what you need. Bought for working on customers computers who don't have a wireless connection and need updates. It does what is needed cheaply.

I bought this to hand off to a computer novice to install on her own and she had no trouble with it at all. Definitely not a high-performance NIC, but c'mon it was fifteen bucks!

Works very well with Win 7, loaded drivers off disk, set up security and logged right into home network. Very handy since where I wanted PC was not easy to get a cable to. I would recommend and buy again.

Product website support is hard to find; the product worked with my Vista OS, but it never explicitly says in the product documentation to it supports vista. Oh well. Although it shows about a 60% connection strength to some networks, it acts like it's only got a 10% connection: very slow. Unreliable. Every few hours I have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to work. Maybe vista specific drivers would fix this...but they aren't on the disk! Spend the money, and get something better.

The adapter was difficult to program, i.e., the mini-CD did not contain an up-to-date driver, and the website is hard to navigate. It took me 5 attempts and hours until the adapter worked properly. At the end, I am pleased with the results.

I had to buy 2 of these for the office. Easy to connect I had absolutely no issues with it. I installed one on Windows 7 using the vista drivers and it worked like a charm. Just what I was looking for!

This is a great little adapter its easy to use recognized instantly by ubuntu9.04 and it is very sensative. I have another usb adapter that picked up my home network but at 80% signal this one was 100% signal. Very happy with the buy.

You really can't go wrong with this device. We bought 8 for our office network and they all work great. We have the wireless modem on the main floor and desktops on second floor and there is no range issues. I did not bother with the software that came with it. I just got the driver from the Sabrent website, put it on a usb drive and installed it. Very nice product, did not have to open computers to install anything.

I can't honestly find anything wrong with this adapter. It was easy to install. It is one of the fastest USB WiFi adapters I've ever seen. And most of all it was cheap. Just follow the instructions and you'll be off. My system is a windows Vista 1yr old no frills. It works great.
