I purchased this USB device for my laptop so I could connect to my wireless home network. I plugged it into the USB port, and two minutes later I was connected. I am a complete idiot when it comes to networking, and this USB Wireless Adapter made me look like a genius, so I reccommend this product or all computer illiterates like me who needs an easy to install and use wireless adapter.

I had a little trouble getting the product to work even after downloading the updates. After a little trial and error, I got it up and running. For the money, this is a great product. I just wish it would have come with better instructions.

Mine just plugged right in and works just fine. I did the automatic download of drivers from the CD that comes with it and it worked great on my WindowsXP system. I'm not sure how its range compares to others on the market, but it did detect signals at a farther range than the built-in wireless on my laptop. One drawback is it really can't do anything with low-level signals - it needs to be above 33% (whatever that means) to really have a usable connection. But no problems through the wall for me.

This replaced a similar product from another vendor which cost 50% more and didn't perform at all, necessitating a return and refund. Installation was easy and performance is flawless, giving new life to an old computer without WI-FI capability.

I just plugged it in and it worked on my niece's Vista system. Previously tried net gear adapter and I could not get the Vista drivers for the adapter to work. I'm buying another one!

Took a while to get connected because the drivers that came on the CD didn't work with XP home SP3. It would not recognize the device. I went to the Sabrent web site and downloaded the latest one and it worked. I did have a problem connecting to my Motorola SBG900. I just turned all the security stuff off and then I got connected. I then turned the security stuff back on, one setting at a time. I was able to find out what worked and what didn't.

This USB adapter works great at 54Mb when plugged in to a USB 2.0 port. It still works with USB 1.0 but only connects at 11Mb. Installation is a breeze and it finds all the available access ports. Great product. Great price.

Ok, mine is white and Sabrent is not printed on the device. Whatever it is, it works great. I installed the drivers easily, using 2 methods. My first attempt, I installed the drivers from the autorun feature of the mini CD. This provides a mini application, in the system tray to manage the device. Uninstalled, and reinstalled with the XP new device wizard, which reads the CD and builds the connection. Worked even better. XP places a device icon in the system tray, all is good.
