Dreadful
Comment:
This adapter is dreadful. I could not get it to install directly on my motherboard USB ports. The software kept locking up. I could only get it to install on a USB hub and it only ran at 11 Mbs and kept dropping out. Worst 15 dollars I ever spent.

Did Not Work
Comment:
After setting it up, it would constantly start out at 54mbps, then shortly drop to 1mbps, and actually seemed to slow down our entire home network.

JUNK!
Comment:
I purchased ten of these adapters at once thinking they'd be a cheap solution to offer to customer's. The driver disk that comes with the adapters does not work. You have to go to the manufacturer's website to install them. I went through three of the ten I bought until I found one that work when they arrived. My suggestion is to save your money and get something better quality.

Good product at very reasonal price
Comment:
I bought this wireless adapter for my desktop computer because the computer is too far away from the internet hub. It is very easy to use and works great. I compared similar products at local electronics stores, and they cost at least twice as much. I strongly recommend this product for its quality and low price.

Well, it does work..but,
Comment:
I have two major complaints about this Sabrent Wireless Adaptor. 1. It didn't come with a USB extension cable. Which is ok if you are going to connect it directly into the USB port. However, if you have anything connected to the port right next to this one, then you will need a USB extension cable or you won't have enough clearance to plug it in. 2. After my PC boots it takes an additional 45 seconds for the adaptor to complete the connection so that I can get online. After it finally connects, it does quite well. It just takes awhile to get it going. Its almost like trying to get an old, tired, car to start on a cold snowy morning. It does finally gets going, it just takes a little time to get there.

Poor Signal Quality
Comment:
I recently moved in with family (temporarily) and I needed to connect my PC to the wireless internet that was upstairs. I plugged it in, installed the drivers and up we were...but with very poor signal. I exteneded the range using a 5' USB extension to get a little better signal, but it was still poor. Once I made a parabolic antenna out of aluminum foil and pointed it to the direction of the router, it now gets great signal...just looks like sin...

Not what I expected
Comment:
Well, I bought this because I was moving into an apartment building that has wireless capabilities and so far, I have not even been able to load a search engine. My signal goes between low and very low and every time I try to load a site I am told that it is an invalid address. The network is unprotected, so that is not my issue. Also, I am one of only two tennants and I have tried at all times of the day so traffic is not the issue either. This may work for people who are really close to the signal source but, as for me, I think I'm going to go with a wireless N router or adapter.

Amazingly efficient and thrifty
Comment:
This little guy worked beautifully with Ubuntu 9 when I was frustrated out of my mind with another wireless adapter. Later I hit a stall with Windows XP interacting with another Brand Name wireless adapter and plugged this little guy in and downloaded a new driver for the Name Brand adapter. A lifesaver.

Works well
Comment:
The adapter works well has decent signal quality. I do not like that the drivers came on a mini cd, being I have a vertical cdrom it was difficult to insert and close the cd tray. Good buy for the price.

It works but.....
Comment:
Great price, east install, but it didn't work unless I was in the same room as the wireless router. I have my desktop computer in the same room as the router, I want to use my laptop all over the house. But I can't even use it in the next room. It's even hard to pick up wireless at a coffee shop that has wi-fi. Just beware that it may or may not work the way you want it to.

Great Value
Comment:
This is a great value. It installs quickly and easily. Purchased this for my mother, who is using it for her desktop on a second story apartment and connecting to her wireless router which is in the garage on the first floor. The signal is great. She was able to set it up by herself in minutes.

Great product for a great price.
Comment:
I have 2 of these and they both worked. Some come in a Sabrent box and some don't, also both of my units were white in color and not black as pictured. Regardless of the color or box, they are all the same. A simple install of the USB unit and then the drivers from the mini CD and you're good to go. All you need to do is go into the advanced settings of the included utility and input your WEP for your network. I was really impressed how quick and easy this was and how well it works. If you need a USB wireless connection, this is a great bang for the buck!!! I forgot to mention... put the CD in and read the manual for the installation, that's what make it go soooooooo smooth. I'd buy this one again should the need arise. 5 stars in my opinion all the way...
