So i choose the Metal bay converters over plastic although the plastic is not going to make the noise from small vibrations, Do your self a favor and use spacers everywhere. Even those thin little red colored ones that come no cost with motherboards are a great concept and keeps the metal on metal action to a minimum. Metal clearly = rattles/noises if not correctly taken care of I use rubber boots for these, These enclosures are hosting some enterprise SAS drives spinning at 10,000 and 15,000 RPM that are thicker than your common 2.5" laptop drive, these operate good. I have the outsides attached to some rapid release channels for uncomplicated removal from the case and i dont have any noise from vibrations.

Well produced, excellent metal. Had to drill the leading holes larger to be in a position to mount 2 Savvio 15K.1 drives on leading of every single other. Thought maybe they were for SSDs only but the directions show them installing SAS drives. The instructions do say "Compatible with most two.5" hard drive" Why not have the leading holes a tiny greater and make it compatible with additional? Also 2 of the 3 that I bought didn't come with the mounting screws. Would buy once more cus the other ones look too inexpensive! You in all probability dont have to do any mod for SSDs.

The metal used in construction of this bracket is great. It's a single piece bracket, so it is sturdy for moving drives (standard) or SSD. It comes with four coarse thread significant screws for uncomplicated mounting to case, as nicely as eight two.five" drive screws. There are no genuine cons to this bracket, other than it might be a tiny bit cumbersome to screw the 2.five" screws into the drives unless you have a magnetic-head screwdriver.

Solid, hole placement works with Antec 1200 case and must work with most other people, firmly houses most SSDs and two.five" HDDs, SSD runs cool on bottom level, houses two Only silver(?) I would have liked it in black, lack of detailed directions but it's pretty self explanatory anyways, HD slots are a small close together if you want two in there I guess It's good if you need to have a 3.5" - two.5" converter bay. Took me about four minutes to get and SATA III SSD installed and the bay itself installed. Wonderful for cooling HDs (whether SSD or HDD).

Gives two 2.five inch bays in one three.five inch bay. There is a smaller gap between the two bays for ventilation. Quite straightforward to setup. Even though บ is not a lot of cash in general, บ is a bit much for a s piece of metal and for some screws. With the rising recognition of SSD in Desktops, this product fits the require very properly.
