SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons: Price (I got it price matched)

Pros: Thickness.Fit
Comment:
OK a bracket is a bracket ....... not always. This one is a good one. Thick enough to be solid. Not those flimsy cheap thin metal ones. The fit in the HDD bay is perfect. Not much else to say.....it's a bracket! The holes are correctly aligned!P.S. This thing keeps telling me I don't have enough words in my review! It's a bracket Man! Give me a break!

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons: Although some complain about the "twist & hold" method of securing the SDD in the frame, I have no issues with it.

Pros: solid, holds 2 SSD in the space of one HDD
Comment:
Simple piece of metal that I pricematched to a lower price. Holds my 30gb SSD securely with no issues.Does what it's supposed to do.

Works Great
Comment:
Does what it is supposed to do with no trouble. You can mount two SSDs and I wish I could afford two SSDs. Just one decent size one broke the bank! I remember when a 1GB mechanical hard drive was super expensive so now it's just a waiting game.

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons: - pricey for a piece of metal

Pros: - solid build- nickel plated (smooth and doesn't leave fingerprints)- comes with the screws- holds two 2.5 drives (one on top of each) would only recommend SSDs if you plan to put two due to heat
Comment:
A nice solid build. It all smooth and nice looking (might clash if your case isn't silver). You can put two drives on this one. One on top of each other. But I recommend only SSDs due to heat. Had no issue installing this (had to use my thin smaller screwdrivers though).

super duper
Comment:
i thought it was kinda expensive for 10 bucks just to properly mount an SSD, but its not some cheap flimsy steel. its VERY VERY sturdy. you could probably use it for the rest of your life if you needed too. also it can mount 2 SSDs not just one.

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons:Price? Can be fixed with pricematchSSD very close together, heat & cabling problems possible

Pros:Very solidHolds 2 SSDFully extend to 3.5 bay
Comment:
This is an excellent products. The main advantage is it will hold 2 SSD yet the whole product fits in the exact same space (screw spacing, etc...) as a 3.5 drive. Very strong, almost undestructible! Of cource 13$ is a bit expensive for a piece of metal, so consider pricematching. Also the SSD's are very close together, which might cause overheating depending on your setup, as well as power cabling tightly packed (SATA cable is not so bad as they are not daisy-chained). I feel this is the best product so far on the market to adapt your SSD in a desktop computer.

Cons:A bit pricey.

Pros:High quality product, perfect for mounting an SSD into a 3.5" bay.
Comment:
The metal is quite thick, better quality than what I was expecting. I was surprised that it can hold two drives so I won't need another one if I decide to get a second SSD.

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons:Cost

Pros:Simple, Clean, Solid
Comment:
I purchased one of these for my first SSD, decided I wouldn't need one for the my second SSD. That was a mistake, I'm getting one of these for my second SSD and a 2.5" HDD I'm moving from my laptop to my HTPC.Recommended for anyone who needs a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter this is solid choice, it is a little pricey but a quality product can demand a small premium.

I wasn't going to buy one of these for my ssd's... but i broke down since it was too difficult to get them plugged in and tucked somewhere. Now they are secure and cleanly placed. Not much to say, good solid quality, ssd's fit in perfectly. Attaching was a snap. Would recommend.

Cons:None

Pros:CheapDurable / StrongHolds 2 Solid State Drives
Comment:
Simply better than the OCZ drive adapter. It's cheaper and holds two drives. Having two drives in this adapter does not matter when you mount them flush to one another - they create  less than 5 watts of total heat.Definitely recommend this adapter for the SSD's. Comes with all related hardware/screws to mount two drives in this adapter.

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons:ABSOLUTELY NONE!

Pros:*Absolute Match made in heaven for mounting SSD's in your Desktop.-Cheap price, especially after a PM.-Comes well packaged, makes it feel like you bought something important.-VERY well constructed, solid as a rock.-Nice, clean, shiny finish, looks totally pro.-Ability to mount 2 x SSD with a single bracket!-Extends total 3.5" bay length.-Comes with all necessary screws.
Comment:
This is by far the best bracket available for mounting SSD's into your desktops 3.5" bay. An absolute perfect match for my TJ09 case. The accompanying screws makes mounting your drive a snap, and takes all but a couple minutes max. Being able to mount 2 SSD with a single bracket means I save on not having to buy another bracket for whenever I get a second SSD drive.Forget the OCZ, Scythe etc brackets, this is the one you are needing, trust me! SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons:Not compatible with Mac Pro case

Pros:Cheap, sturdy.
Comment:
I bought this thinking that it would be a cheap alternative to the expensive MaxUpgrades SSD bracket for the 2009 Mac Pro but it doesn't work. The alignment is not right (it doesn't position the pins like a real 3.5" drive) and you can't get an adapter cable to bridge the gap.Just writing this to hopefully save other people $20

As other reviewer said, it actually save space because you can put 2 x 2.5 hdd or ssd. 100 times better than Ocz own adapter. Well deserved 5 stars. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-29-09 10:22 AM

SilverStone SDP08 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" Bay Converter
Cons:Could be even cheaper?

Pros:CheapSave spaceLet you use 2.5 SSD in desktops
Comment:
This is a very simple adaptor, it lets you mount 2 x 2.5 SSD in a single 3.5 bay. I used it with 2 x 120G Vertex drives, it fits perfectly! There is even a couple of mm of space between the drives. In any case, this is 10 times better than OCZ own's adaptor, which fits only 1 drive and doesn't extend the full 3.5 bay. A great, simple product that does what it's supposed to.
