This switch is nice.I have all 8 ports in use and the switch is cool to the touch.The D-Link 8 port green power switch was burning hot before it got pushed off the shelf and replaced with this one.I saw it on sale and took no hesitation to get it. |

I can't believe how reliable this little switch is. I thought it would be a cheap product like most things from Trendnet. It has been working 24/7 for over 120 days and hasn't needed to be restarted. It doesn't get warm with 4 PCs and 1 printer hooked to it so it must be at least a bit efficient. The unit feels solid thanks to the metal enclosure instead of the cheap plastic usually found on switchs of that price.Good job Trendnet, I'll recommend this switch again. |

switches are pretty simple devices now, but for gigabit version, this one is great for it's quality and price. Everything set up quickly without hassle. The unit I have has ran continuously for over 4 months now without problem. Doesn't seem to be too warm to touch. Having 8 ports is definitely enough for home applications. |

Switch works great

I bought two of these, and use them as the backbone of my 10-computer home network. I pulled them out of their packages, and used them to replace the 10/100 switches on my network. They seem to work like switches, and are not overheating. I have had mine installed for a month without any problems. Cheap switches which work are exactly what I was hoping for, I recommend them highly. |

What can I say, this product just works. The Transfer rates on my network jumped by nearly 10x (old was 100m) The limit is now my Vista machines (Windows 7 performs much better) |

Great switch

Very nice product. Wire it up, plug it in and forget about it. It just works. I'm a software developer and run multiple operating systems with no issues. Transfer speed is fabulous. Lights work as expected. What's not to like? |

I bought 2 of these last week as my linksys 8 port gigabit switch started to fail (would get heavy packet loss in gigabit mode and not auto fallback to 100mbps). It looks like Trendnet has really stepped up their game, the quality of this switch is impressive, i used to know trendnet as just the cheap brand, but this switch is simply great. |

Overall it is a good and stylish switch. Got it for 38 on special...although I will buy it at normal price as it is a good switch. Not much to go wrong in a switch other than DOA, or a bad port...this had non. All good!
