Quiet not that it matters contemplating how quite a few fans my present pc has but good none the less. Modular for the win. none definitely. I wish it had a modular cord for SATAǚ pin combo because I had to use 1 of every for a handful of devices a combo would have taken care of. but I feel I am becoming picky.

Nice packaging. Partially modular. Well identified manufacturer. Looks great in my situation. Lots of cables to power something you would require. Really quiet and awesome. Effortless to install. Voltage is properly regulated. Quad rail style. May discover issues with the 18 amp rails with some of the high efficiency components. But since most high overall performance cards have dual plugs, it shouldn't be an problem. But will get rid of an egg for this anyway. I just bought this to replace my 6 year old Antec truepower 430 (applause out to Antec for creating a excellent a single). Not powering significantly. But purchased a large psu for up and coming updates to my system.Intel core2duo E4400 @ 3.2ghz. Gigabyte P965 skt 775 mb. 8800GTS 512mb gfx. 4gigs RAM. Two dvd burners, 1TB disk space. Running solid proper now and just hope it will last as long as the Antec did.

Partially modular. Runs quiet and cool suitable now. Mine is the single rail version which is a big "pro". Fairly effiecient. I purchased mine at Finest Buy cause it was an emergency buy when my old power provide following numerous years died. No cons at the moment. Although, there are two versions of this. Either a single rail at 69amp version or a quad rail at 18amps per rail version. So, some documentation or critiques on this may possibly be a bit misleading. I have to laugh at some of the evaluations right here even though. High tech knowledged checked but no notion what ohms law is. Even if you got a quad rail PSU, that is 18amps at 12 volts per rail or 216 watts. Any graphics card even coming close to this wattage WILL have two energy connectors on the card. Two rails is 432 watts, which is A lot more then enough to run ANY video card on the market place today. If you have the single rail version, then that is irrelevant. Wanted something major for SLI soon.

I enjoy the modular design and style. It is also incredibly quiet. I installed this into my Element G case without a hitch. I would highly advocate this power supply to anybody constructing a new technique or upgrading their current technique. None. This is not the only product I purchased that utilizes this specific manufacturer and I am very pleased with it all. I will look to this manufacturer in the future when upgrading or constructing my next program.

Good modular design, good excellent, 850 watts of goodness, 5 year warranty, inexpensive bringing a wonderful worth, BRILLIANT! Nada. The cables are a little brief. I say a "little" simply because anything still reached inside of my total size ATX situation with the psu mounting on the bottom. Thats a lengthy way to reach to the primary board connection.(Also the 24 pin connector is the longest) So if you do occur to have an extremely long reach for an accessory, you may will need an extension, but doubtful.

850WATTS of power... Somewhat modular...on $ale....and ษ rebate to boot... so what what was orignally 货...ended up costing ๯...and now only ๖ immediately after rebate... Only somewhat modular... but not worth knockin an egg off for... My earlier PSU (also Thermaltake) was only 500watts... even though its nonetheless in wonderful shape it wasn't giving me the juice i need for a Core i7 rig with 6gigs of ram and a 9600GT video card... as soon as i got this puppy installed the 1st thing i did was really "multi-activity"..so i decided to burn a film, run youtube, turn on two movies all at the identical time..and for the initially time..my laptop or computer didn't struggle for power...windows use to go into a power save state just to remain afloat...

Modular, pretty good searching in my Antec Skeleton situation, plenty of power for future expansion, quiet None that I can see that I didn't result in myself I had thought that my original power supply was DOA. When the replacement gave the very same indications I looked additional and located the I the wire from the on/off switch on my old case to the motherboard had broken. I really feel like a moron for waiting for the replacement as an alternative of seeking deeper. I am guessing that the original power provide was working also and was not DOA. I can't figure out how to edit or delete a preceding critique or I would do so. This is a good PSU.

I purchased this as element of a package deal, but I probably would have selected it anyway. The modular style is anything new to me, and I assure you will be on every single PSU I purchase from now on. Really simple to install, high expandability possibilities. Wish they'd included a power adapter for fans, as my mainboard only has 1 extra fan header on it. Exceptionally minor quibble. Tons of wattage to power your technique. There is only 1 12v rail on this PSU. Now that could function for a lot more contemporary processors that draw less power, but for older chips like core two duo's, quads, and core two extreme, this won't do. I discovered out the challenging way. I think my PSU had a short, but nonetheless one 12v rail is not gonna handle a QX6850, two 8800gtx cards, 8GB of RAM, and all the peripherals.

Very good Packaging. Like the tiny design on the box. The color bronze looks very good too. not totally 850W on the ი rail but it's close. 828W isnt so bad particularly when im only running 1 graphics card. Thermaltake occasionally make negative power supplies, but this black widow is an exception. don't go for the multi rail one particular even though, much less dependable. Need to of gotten a NZXT 1000W since it would match my NZXT Phantom and simply because its Gold Certified.GET IT! only 贆 w/ free of charge shipping and ten% off.ษ Prepaid card Rebate!

Cheaper then Corsair Okay just a little back story, I order this to replace my failing Corsair 750W, and I may possibly have burnt it out myself though installing it. Nevertheless, that is not why I am giving it a negative rating.1) Immediately after opening it I only had the sata, and pata cables, the PCIE cables where missing.2) The cable did not snap in spot, with adequate tension the cable could fall out. Even had I had not burnt out the PSU I could not use it mainly because it did not come with all the power cables. I guess mine was 1 of those ones that slipped there the verify technique.

Semi-Modular. Decent length cables. Monsterous 140mm however quiet fan. Good and physically heavy with good quality elements and real Wattage Ratings. Each peripheral cable has 4 plugs on it. Actually? Is that actually required? Personally, I favor to see a single or two of the modular cables only have 2 power connections and the rest with 4 if only for the sake of case cleanliness. It would be good to be able to control the fan speed by way of a third party voltage controlled fan controller as well but the fan is quiet enough that this is genuinely a non-problem. This is the second Thermaltake I've bought in 8 years. I've only bought two PSU's in 8 years. The earlier one particular (a 480w Purepower TWV) is nevertheless kickin, just not enough juice for the current rig. My next PSU will in all probability be a Tt also.

And sadly I didn't notice how a lot power my method was draining. I'm lucky my old supply didn't die. :\*modular cabling constantly a perk* I want to widen my exhaust hole on my mod for the power provide. I don't want this leaking into my program. None so far I will update as time goes by. I under no circumstances thought I'd will need to upgrade anything past the 750watt range. I tell people now. Do your homework on the power needs of all your components. Issues add up rapidly. If you live on the west coast region you'll get it in about a day.
