side panels screw on nicely, air intake filters are good The worst aspect is the fans. I've had difficulty with *both* 230 mm fans hitting the side of the situation going wap-wap-wap. It's basically the worst noise ever. Also, the front bezel is low cost and snaps off a lot too effortlessly. The no-tools components for the PCI cards and 5.25 drives feels low cost, plasticy, and non-secure. For the price tag, not considerably worth. This is the initial time I've bought a product so terrible on newegg that I felt compelled to write a review about it. I sooner or later had to pony up far more funds to replace it with the COOLER MASTER HAF 932, and I am a lot far more impressed with that situation. My Noctua NH-U12P heatsink didn't fit with out taking out the side fan.

Very good size, Spacious, straightforward to break down and put back with each other, screw-less mountiong (drives), well marked connectors, FABULOUS AIRFLOW.... lots of space! Plastic in the Screwless connectors, Documentation Quite negative. Cable space, backplate This is the 1st system construct I have done from the ground up in @ 15 years. Yes, A lot has changed but it was really Simpler than I had imagined.it was properly made for the value, sturdy (no, not like a skyscraper but come on now) All the connectors were there except for the optional 70mm fan. For the nivice, this is a good case. The documentation leaves a bit to be desired, but with a tiny patience it is easilt figured out. This is the very first case of this sort I had ever built in from scratch. Rookies, this one particular is for you!Less one particular Egg because there is not a lor of space for heavy-duty cables and issues can get tight. Also the plastic srew-less disk holders are a bit delicate, so just be careful. It is not straightforward to get rid of the backplate to place on the a single that comes with the motherboard. Otherwise except for temporary annoyance, it was a good thought.I Adore this case and would purchase it yet again!!!

This situation has quite excellent ventilation. The big side and prime fans supply remarkable airflow with incredibly low noise (estimating about 35dB overall). There are mesh filters on all of the modest intake fans, which aids minimize dust. The front situation fan looks extremely great with the red light. The large side intake fan does not have any dust filter, which suggests that the elements get a fine coating of dust. The riser cards are held down by a snap program, but it doesn't hold them firmly in spot, so that they wiggle side to side (no danger of them coming loose from the mobo, even though). The snaps for the drives are nicely developed, but they have a weak point in the plastic cleat which hold them in spot. I accidentally turned one particular when it wasn't totally in spot and the cleat broke, rendering the snap useless. Front USB ports are upside down. Don't location the situation on carpet, or you will suffocate your energy provide!

Great airflow with fantastic cable management choices. Lots of space to work inside. Nicely painted interior/exterior. Extremely quiet in spite of the big fans. Energy supply mounts on bottom which is kind of unfavorable if your case sits on the floor. Actually good situation! I would certainly advise it to anybody developing a gaming Pc. The airflow is outstanding and the components are high excellent.

This is a good solid situation; I don't know what reviewers that say it's flimsy are speaking about; the metal is very solid. The toolless stuff is okay, not actually sturdy but unless you had been preparing on throwing your computer system into a wall, they really should hold up. I have a huge video card in mine and the 'light' plastic clip is still holding it up fine a year later. My 1st issue with this case is that to use their toolless snapins for the drives, you ahve to insert the drive with the connectors to the back/MB side of the situation - which means you have to take off both sides to insert -and connect- a drive. Nonetheless tooless, it operates, but it's a pita. Mine could have just been assembled wrong, I dunno, but still a con.Second and far much more annoying now is that none of the situation fans have survived a total year. The two 230s began making really horrible noises and got unplugged inside 3 months of buying; the 120s have now stopped as well. 120s are no massive deal, they're effortless to replace, but no one particular sells a fundamental, no-LED 230mm fan that I can discover. This is nonetheless a solid case, and honestly, the 120s kept it cool sufficient for me most of the year; it was only when they cut out that I had complications, but I'm not overclocking or anything. I wouldn't purchase this case again, however, due to the fact of the discomfort of replacing the side fans.

This case is reasonably priced for what you get. Anything fits nicely, and all the hardware is included to finish off a fundamental installation. The case looks fantastic, and though some parts are flimsy, most of the construction is quite good, and the case is nice and light. I employed this case for a create for my father in law, and I count on that he will delight in it. In contrast to some of the other complaints, I didn't have a issue with the tool-much less drive holders. They had been reasonably secure for me, although I suspect you may well require to get creative with a SSD. Cable management is poor overall. I like situations exactly where the power can be run underneath the motherboard -- this is not 1 of them. Since so much of the situation is ventilated, sound insulation is poor, as well. Depending on your tastes, you could or might not like all of the vent holes. Personally, I'm not a fan, but as I mentioned, the situation isn't for me. The huge fans are incredibly quiet, but I found the fan on the back of the situation to be fairly noisy (but I'm not working with it, so it's not a problem). I echo the other comments about the tool-less expansion card holders -- they didn't properly secure my PCI cards and they couldn't support a double-wide video card with out becoming removed. I removed them entirely and just screw in the expansion cards. This works fine. Seriously, the quantity of fans on this point is comical. It basically has its own fire suppression capability. I haven't overclocked with this case, but I feel a superior answer would have been to make the side panels solid and use fans to direct airflow. As an alternative There are fans on 5 of six sides of this case, and air is blowing all more than the place. It's merely overkill, and I'm doing fine running only two of the fans on the situation -- front and best (along with the PS fan, and of course video card and processor fans). For Sandy Bridge, you could even be in a position to get away with just the side or leading fan.

Looks fantastic, spacious, fantastic cooling with massive fans. Noisey and cheap fans. The top fan style is quite poorly executed and has concerns with the fan blades hitting the support/shield causing a Incredibly annoying ticking sound. The front fan isn't quite easy to get to and clean. When I very first began using this situation I was fairly impressed... but about three months in the difficulties started. The rear exhaust fan randomly sounds like an airplane flying near my home. The best fan will randomly slap the plastic shield/support pieces beneath it and will do that for random periods of time. I did some investigation and identified it's a extremely typical problem with a couple of distinct Thermaltake cases that have top mounted fans.Right after spending ๯ on this case and a year later I do have a buyers remorse. I looked into possessing an RMA completed but Thermaltake's website says I would have to spend to ship it to them and IF they locate a problem they will replace/repair it. Yeah, I'm not eating the shipping expense on that for a fan.Save oneself the hassle and headache of crummy fans and poor design and get something that isn't Thermaltake.

Good looks, open ventilation, toolless design TERRIBLE fans. Soon after 1 month, a single of the 230mm fans began producing terrible noises. Then, one of the 120mm fans. Then, while blowing off the dust a single of the blades on the other 230mm broke off. (With just the pressure of my air gun!) The plastic parts are all quite fragile. Cool thought with the the large fans. It was good and quiet. Now Each fans are broken I can find any person else who makes a 230 mm fan. I won't be purchasing replacements from TT. :-(

It's major, it looks good, and it has fantastic airflow THE FANS ARE AWFUL. The prime fan made this horrible clacking sound , as the blades hit the sides of the situation. I fixed it by sanding down the bits that the blades had been catching on, and that worked for about a year. The situation hasn't moved since, and it's began undertaking it once more. Seriously I can't even hear myself variety. I believe the fan worked itself a little loose and the blades are wobbling vertically. I liked this situation, but the fans are just AWFUL

Its was low cost and good while it lasted. The small tray up leading with the usb ports makes for a nice iPhone / iPod dock. Ugh, where to start? The tool-totally free style is junk. You can not secure cards with it, so you're far better off removing the tabs and using screws and not bothering with it.My largest gripe is the more than all top quality. The metal is really thin and simple to bend, specifically trying to knock out the tabs for card slots. The fans in this case are super super cheaply made. The top fan started sagging and knocking its own frame inside two months. And of course the only men and women that sell replacement fans that will fit is...Thermaltake, at ษ a pop for something that is likely of equivalent quality...no thanks. Decent situation for the price tag, just count on to replace the fans in it soon, and only from Thermaltake.

Kept every little thing nice and cool for about 2 days...... Each the big fans broke within 2 days. The construct is incredibly affordable and the complete situation feels like a huge coke can. I could lean on it and crush it possibly. The "no screw" design is horrible. It makes it a pain to add cards that take two slots. It doesn't preserve the drives in location well, so they vibrate. The moment the drive or card covers are removed, they can't be replaced. I realized why organizations sell circumstances for 赨+. It's because it's worth it. I got a Corsair Obsidian series 800D and it almost certainly the best situation I've ever seen, in just about every way.

I'm a Thermaltake fan and this situation was a letdown. I consider the cost of the case largely goes to the fans. They are relatively quiet and genuinely place a lot of air even though the machine. The situation looks Excellent. The case isn't to heavy like other mid-tower instances. The power/reset buttons are good and straightforward to push. The PCI slots are break-away metal so as soon as you get rid of them they can not be put back, the fast-connect's for the drives and pci cards are terrible. I ended up breaking one particular that held the tricky drive. I had to pull out the rapid connects for my Video card and actually force a screw by way of the hole to hold it down.

It's huge and painted inside. Lots of drive bays. Poor material top quality, thin soft metal that won't hold it's shape. The rear mounted card slot USB panel falls out, there's no way to fully secure it. The swift clamping is a great notion but poorly implemented. The big fans aren't actually quite quiet either. In over twenty years of creating computers I have under no circumstances observed a situation this bad. It has been replaced with an Antec 900SE, ten instances the quality and only ษ dollars far more at FRY's. I just hope the Thermaltake 850 watt power supply I got is far better in the extended run than this case was for 1 day. Manufacturer Response:Anonymous,The case does not come with a "rear mounted card slot USB panel". If you are attempting to mount such a card, you could basically take away the tooless clip and mount the card with a situation screw.Thermaltake Client Service

The only point good about this situation is the mobo mounts built in. Where do I begin? The back plate is so secured that popping it out irrevocably warps the metal. Resorted to pliers to get it to fit. The metal is incredibly flimsy and low good quality. The black interior looks good but makes it a nightmare to see something inside. The screw-less parts of the situation don't hold the parts in worth something, specifically the video card one. That's the tolerable stuff. The intolerable stuff: The 230mm fans died completely in a week for definitely no cause. The front pops off for no purpose. The back fan tends to make a negative sound. There is no space to hide cables. The 230 MM fans prior to dying weren't even moving substantially air. My USB dongles on the front/top of the situation are mangled, and only one particular is useable. This is the worse item I've ever purchased. Thermaltake, it would be great if you'd sell a excellent product right here. I've spent 115$ on generally nothing. I'd appreciate a entirely new situation from you guys that's not this 1. I don't want to deal with one more negative situation once again.

Quiet case that supplies exceptional cooling. Even so, that is not why I'm writing this review. The 230mm fans are a Massive challenge. I loved this case, nonetheless as is bound to occur I want to replace the side 230mm fan. Now, feel cost-free to do a search on Newegg and then do a search on Google and learn that NO One particular ON PLANET EARTH SELLS THESE FANS! Well, except for wherever Thermaltake gets the ones for this case. I initial tried to make contact with their tech assistance just to see if they would sell me a replacement fan. No response. I then sent four emails to their sales department over a two month period. No response of any kind. If you look on their web site exactly where it lists places to acquire a replacement fan for this case, there are simply no vendors listed. My thoughts is literally blown. They know they are in a negative spot, as this issue is effectively documented and as a corporation they have selected to merely ignore their customers. They will not even reply to your email to say sorry you're just out of luck. I begged them to tell me the vendor that they use. Nevertheless absolutely nothing. I am deeply unimpressed.

Looks impressive, big fans move a lot of air with out a lot of noise. Screw-much less case tends to make it simple to install drives, cards. Energy Provide on the bottom is good. All included screws, standoff's are black as nicely. All four of the included fans are two wire, so there is no speed sensing, or speed control. Seemingly random use of power plugs. The case only has 2 USB ports, a headphone and Mic jack. There is space for additional, like add USB or Firewire. The screw-less card holder would not hold my video card securely, I had to take away the tab and use a screw. My case arrived bent, even though the packaging had no significant impacts. I was able to use a couple of tools and bend it back, cost much less then the shipping to return it. Newegg supplied it with a rebate, but as I sit here and attempt to fill it out, I come across that there is only a 1 week window to buy, and I am out side of it, regardless of how Newegg has advertised it. So I don't get my ฮ back. Read the rebate needs prior to you acquire to make certain you get yours.

-Dual 23mm fans.-Tool-much less HDD and disk drive retention.-Fans run incredibly quietly. -Tool-much less retention for GPU does not function.-Absolutely no space behind the MOBO tray to route cables. Wonderful air flow / cooling (also see cons)Expansion bay slots are effortless to use with a good locking mechanism. Air flow is fantastic, till the top rated fan begins to click when it hits the leading of the case itself. When removing the blanks for a variety of slots, you stand a incredibly good likelihood of bending the surrounding metal. The front panel falls off if the case isn't picked up at precisely the correct angle leading to the whole point popping off. For me, this lead to the leading cover having a couple peices break and not fitting appropriately leading to the top fan being nonfuctional. That was just shifting it beneath the desk about 6 inches off the ground. The toolless card holder is worthless for something larger than a half height card since it doesn't provide any authentic assistance for the card, just keeps it in position horizontally (for the most part). Absolutely could have been a fantastic case, and I've always utilised Thermaltake, but this was absolutely a lemon.

Wonderful case! I adore all the characteristics about this case, air & wire management are super. With a red led power provide this case couldn't appear to considerably greater with out getting covered in leds Side 230 x 230 x 20 fan blades started hitting the casing 2 months right after i built this pc. I ended up disconnecting it and havn't had temp difficulties with it but. Yesterday my leading 230 x 230 x 20 fan starting hitting the casing as effectively. I am no certain if this is a baring situation in the fans, poor design or just plain low cost parts. I can not come across replacement fans anyplace. It appears as if from reading other people posts and feedback about this case that I am expriencing a typical problem with this case. It appears great and is of relatively sturdy construction. The quick install brackets are garbage. They do not hold the drive in location - the drive can still be shifted half an inch when the brackets are "locked" in spot. HDDs must be installed backwards (power/sata connection towards the motherboard) in order to line up with the holes in the drive bay. To fully secure a HDD (four screws, two on every side) you ought to remove each side panels, the front panel, and the front fan.The front panel is produced of flimsy plastic which is type of scary to eliminate when you want to install a drive. It has these plastic add-on slot locks which: A) stop you from installing double-wide cards and B) do not secure the card tightly. Even when locked in place, the add-on card could be shifted nearly absolutely out of the slot basically by pushing the external connection (in this case, a DVI connector) in to the card. I ended up throwing out all the rapid-install bracket/lock items and just using screws.

As is, the inside of the case looks like some madman electrician got a hold of it.
