Great for Quickie Checks
Comment:
Terrific for a quick test to determine if problem is in the PSU or on the MB. You won't need to drag out the DMV test leads and best of all you won't need another hand. |

Spend a little more
Comment:
This device does work, but I need to know if power is low (I could use a multimeter) Spend another $10.00 and get a Manhattan digital tester. Oh yea, and if you have never used one of these before, plug the 20 pin connector in first, and leave it plugged in for the rest of the tests. Also, some 20 pin plugs have the white (ground) wire but it is not used Via circuit board (Read the output sticker on PS)and will test as a no light on neg 5. |

Very happy with product
Comment:
Since I received the item I was able to successfully test my existing power supply and another that I bought to upgrade it with. The upgrade was doa and this tester proved it. Very happy that I was able to test and send it back for a replacement that worked. |

All IN One Tool
Comment:
I have a tester that I bought years back for about the same price; but it does not check all the connections on the psu! This is great! Good price and just what the doc ordered! Thanks!!! |

Good and simple piece of test equipment.
Comment:
It does what it was designed for.....Test a power supply to see if it functions. It isn't a test bed! It does a good job. |

Great for the job!

You won't find an easier way to determine if you're non-booting computer is a dead power supply or dead motherboard. That alone is worth the price, but it's also great for checking currently unused power connections before buying an add-on part, etc. If you need precise voltages though, get a multi-meter. |

Serves its purpose
Comment:
Its not 100%, I mean you cant load test a supply or check for excessive ripple but in a pinch it will show you if your getting voltages. Its a down and dirty fast first step. I only needed it for that andy thing more and your going to need a test bench. Good for field tech's. Im lazy to take out a meter and short the enable pin. ;) |

If you are like me and have people constantly needing help with computer system, this one device saves so much time in checking out a power supply. Plug it in and boom You either work or you don't. |

I bought this tester to check out an extra power supply I had before I used it in a new system. All seemed to go well, so far... |

Has nice LED's
Comment:
About as basic as they get for today's PSU's. The downside is that it is misleading. I've gone through countless PSU's at work, this thing passes every one of the failed ones. I ended up getting a 2 for 1 deal, both perform the same. Upgraded to a different brand. |
