This heat cooler is decently thin and the noise output on this is incredibly low compared to my other fans in my program. I had placed this heat cooler on my Seagate ST3160811AS Thin challenging drive and it cooled it down quite nicely. Prior to, my hard drive would be so stinking hot, but now its good and cool. It was easy to install and operates excellent for me. Non. Newegg shipped this solution in a timely style. A must have product if you have a hard drive that tends to overheat.

Iv installed this on five-7 Really hard Drives in four various instances. It has cooled every hard drive from "Near burn You Hot" to "Room Temperature". Incredibly effective at its job. I can't hear its fans. Great Tough Drive Cooler. Not Seriously A Con. In all 4 instances i had to bend the challenging Drive holder tabs down so it could match and align with holes. but completely worth it each and every time. Just buy it. Good Price and totally operates.

Does in fact move hot air away from drive, Appears nice, fits well on WD drives. Not sure if there is any true advantage aside from aesthetics. I need to say I purchased this to make my new case in blue theme shine. For Ű I did not count on it to function effectively and I believed it would be gimicky and cheap. I was extremely suprised to see how effectively this was built. The fans do truly move hot air away from the drive and the heat sink is thick usable. I would buy once more.

I bought and installed 4 of these in my program. They look quite and install quickly. The noise level is low. I had 1 fail inside 6 months and paid almost as a lot to ship it in for replacement. The replacement has failed currently. Much less than two weeks! This makes for a 40% fail rate within the very first year. These replaced the Masscool junk that had a 87.five% fail rate. The Masscool failed the original four within six months and three of the four replacements failed inside two months. Does anybody make a reliable HD cooler?

Not pricey. Plugged in the power and it worked correct away. Spend close consideration to the amount of air it moves. I only gained about four to five degrees (C) of a drop in temp. The tough drive is running in the low 40's (C) at this point. Look for a single with a greater CFM as this only has 9. This fan went into a Dell Dimension 4700 which apparently has some cooling problems inherent to the style of the program. It's not a bad product, but it isn't stellar either. You get what you spend for.

Does what it is supposed to do. It lowered the temp of my tough drive 鵬GB VelociRaptor). True quiet. No complications, nevertheless. None Uncomplicated install, screws included with Molex power connector. Make certain you have enough clearance below your tough drive. It extends to the bay beneath.

Do what they must and look fantastic before they break. Simple to set up. The fans fail. I have two fo these and 1st a single went in two months the second 1 in 3. Fans start off creating noises begin/stop make loud noise.

Reasonably quiet.Nevertheless fits into a typical slot (with a small persuasion).Cools my 150GB ten,000 RPM Raptor Extremely ProperlyI would suggest this for anyone operating a raptor, or a 10,000 RPM + scsi drive. Nice tiny contraption to cool your HD. For much less than บ, you can't go incorrect. Really quiet. Quite simple to install. The blue finish looks terrible. It just doesn't match. It's not like a graphics card or sound card you want every person to notice and see. It's a fan. A neutral color would be substantially nicer. May paint it black later. Good buy. If and when I obtain a different hard drive, I will be receiving this too, yet again.

For the initial year it worked quite well; however, I did not see the dramatic lower in HD temp that some other customers have observed. Incredibly LOUD as of late. Apparently when these items start out to go, you will know. Not positive if I would acquire once more..I might get anything a tiny more pricey.

relatively quiet, aluminum heatsink variety of physique absorbs some of the heat away from the HDD. dropped the temp of my 640GB WD blackseries HDD to about 31-34 when idle (from ㅠC). none i place two of these - one particular on the bottom of the HDD one particular on major but the addition of the second one (on leading) did not create additional incremental drop in temperature.

Cheap and inexpensive. Quiet. i cant hear it. i have a seagate 250 gig and it got hot very hot running about 47 degrees...now its 39 with the case closed and with it open its 35! Simple to install... none truly...various colors may be cool.

Great cooler for the price tag, it helps to take some heat away from the challenging drive, does what it's supposed to do. Fans may well be a small loud but that's normally how smaller fans are. Anything to make the hard drive run cooler assists, I would obtain a lot more of these if I had too.

Great style and good cooling. Can barely hear the difference amongst acquiring no HDD fans installed and possessing 4 of them in. fit on the bottom of the drive no issue not truly a con but i have an antec 900 and i had to mod the HDD cage rail, for the mount to be secured. MOD meaning bend the rail down so that the drive is at very same level as mounting screw. other than so creative bending you are g2g
