Bought these on sale and I couldn't be happier. They look great and they installed in no time. I have them currently attached to a SEAGATE 7200.7 160GB HARD DRIVE 7200RPM SATA W/ NCQ 8MB CACHE 8.5MS 3.5IN OEM. Didn't have to make any adjustments. I would recommend this these fans to anyone especially when they go on sale. |

I got this 3.5 inches hard drive cooler for my seagate 120 MB SATA HD in my Asus TM231 case. This cooler help to drop by around 5 C the HD temperature. The noise coming from it is low and desing is nice. At only 8$ in weekly it's a bargain. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-23-05 07:38 PM |

Had to bend some of my tabs down in my case since this increases the height of the harddrive, which I wasn't too pleased about. The thing does work great though. Keeps my drive nice and cool. Not really neccessary for 7200 rpm drives, but my case is pretty warm as it is, so I like using it. |

I was thinking of putting it in an enclosure but I thought I'd try this cheaper option first and so far it seems to work. Don't know if I'll be a bale to fit another drive in teh bay directly below the drive with the fan attached. |

I bought one of these to cool a 120 gb maxtor 7200 rpm harddrive. My case had small tabs in the harddrive cage which held the drives in place. These spaces were too narrow for drive with attached fan assembly to fit. As in one of the previous users messages. I bent the tabs down and was able to squeeze the drive in. Before installing the fans my harddrive ran very hot. Since installing it my drive is significantly cooler, so these fans really do work. If I install another harddrive into my system I am definitely getting another one of these. |
This is a great product. For the price, it really does help lower HD temps. It's not loud either. Only problem is that it reduces the space for other HD's
