Product works great, install was easy, delivery was relatively fast- but the rebate was almost as bad as a college entrance exam. I am still waiting for it a month later.

The memory works fine but Wintec has sunk to a new low in making a rebate difficult to submit. I would not buy a Wintec product again on the basis of a rebate. I gave the value a three because submitting the rebate was really not worth the effort.

I bought this product in order to speed up and give more capacity to my 5 year old HP Pavilion dv 1000 laptop and to my surprise the memory were the wrong one advertised for my laptop, they just don't fit. I put the same information as I stated above and the product they advertised to buy was the Wintec AMPO PC1024MB PC2700 DDR333Mhz Memory. I honestly can not say is either good or bad, that's why I gave the rating of 3 stars.

Product is ok, but the rebate. I did not like the sneaky way I was asked if I wanted to receive my rebate in 3-5 business days-of course-. I thought it was an internet confirmed rebate. Then I find, I have to send in the paperwork anyway, then you tell me you'll take 2dollars -10percent of the rebate-Then I wait weeks for a lousy card, very,sad

Had no problem with this product at all. Was very easy to install. Only negative is that the rebate is a pain and you get a VISA gift card, not cash.

Usual fast T.D. shipping. The single module worked fine. The rebate claim was a bit of a pain and, while I have received a confirmation e-mail, I'm still waiting for the check. Please note that the rebate is for ONE item, not two. If you want two, make two orders to different addresses.

Same scam here, I contacted rebate company and was told since I purchased two memory pieces I could get two rebates if they were sent in separately. I only got one. I used the rebate credit card once with $10 left on it. After one use the card is continually denied at many stores. The manufacturer must have a deal with the rebate company.

Very fast shipping. Installation is a breeze, and the performance increase was very apparent. Haven't received the rebate yet, but did receive confirmation that it had been received for processing and it has only been a month. Not sure what

There is no problem with this memory it does what it should and increased the speed of my older computer. However, I am still waiting for the rebate despite doing the things that were asked of me, and taking the lesser amount to recieve it in the short amount of time.

I'm thinking some of the Best rated reviews that claim to have gotten rebates are company plants. Don't get your hopes up with the rebate. It involves a ridiculously amount of hoops to jump through. When comparing prices, I wouldn't include the price after rebate. I was told since I purchased two I could get two rebates if they were sent in separately. Never got it. My rebates are even shown separately on the rebate companies website. Yes, a separate company handles the rebate. That is how this company gets away with screwing you out of your offered rebate.

Good product that seems to perform well so far, but beware of the rebate. It involves a ridiculously complicated process, ending in payment in the form of a debit card that itself carries outrageous terms and conditions, IMHO. The product is worth the retail price, but skip the rebate.

Good memory, easy install. I have given up on the rebate every appearing or being usable. Isn't it a MasterCard Pay Card? That may not be too useful in Toronto. Really not sure what the point is if it is such a hassle.

Great product! Works well in my Dell Dimension 2400. I ordered 2 (on separate orders) and was able to successfully get two rebates under the same name and address. The rebate home page says 4 rebates per household even though the actual rebate form says 1 per household. I simply printed the rebate homepage, highlighted and circled the 4 per household, and sent it with my rebate documentation and both were approved. Definitely recommend the product and the rebate process.
