Works fine. Had BIOS memory setting on 'Turbo' mode but after adding this module had to put the setting on 'Normal' to get the PC to work well. Didn't try this module alone at that speed. Really not an issue .

This was a great price with the rebate. The ease of installation was wonderful. Took just a few minutes and solved all my issues.

Product is excellent and at an excellent price. I was a skeptic but now I believe. HOWEVER: The rebate is simply a Marketing Ploy. It is not a true rebate. A simple Instant Rebate would work beautifully. And it should satisfy the Marketing Genius that thought up this scheme.

Works great for the personal computer. Replaced a 512k stick with this 1G stick, and I could tell the difference immediately. Great buy with the rebate offer!

I needed more memory for my computer, this was a great price, my computer works a lot faster and I am well pleased. I delayed on applying for the rebate and have not received it yet, but even without the rebate- the price was right!

This memory really made the system (Dell Dimension 2400) faster. It plugged right in and was detected without any issues. As regards the $20 rebate, the original UPC is attached to the RAM chip and states that removal will void the Lifetime warranty. I called Wintec and explained the situation and they agreed to process the rebate with only a photocopy of the UPC (I also included a cover page with an explanation page with the explanation with my rebate paperwork). The online status shows that my rebate has been approved, but I am still waiting for the rebate in the mail.

Does what it says. Was recognized immediately. Went in with no issues whatsoever. With rebate, it was a great buy - immediately improved the performance of my old e-machines.

Had an older motherboard so I put it in a case and set it up to run my older games. Older video card. Some older games don't run on the newer updated video cards and mother boards. This memory really made the system faster. There was a $20. rebate however the ''ORIGINAL UPC'' which is required can't be sent . It is attached to the RAM memory and states removal will void the ''LIFETIME'' warranty. I called Wintec and explained the situation and they agreed to process the rebate submission with only a photo of the UPC (scanned the UPC by placing the chip on my scanner and scaning it then inserted in a word page with the explanation. Still waiting for the rebate. If I get it the price was exceptional at $18.99 after the $20 rebate.

The memory works fine the rebate doesn't exist. There was no UPC label to return and I couldn't waste the time to find out where it was and how to get the rebate. I just won't buy any more products with the rebate scam attached.

The product works well enough, but it's not a great deal without the rebate. You need to attach the UPC code to the paperwork to qualify. The packaging doesn't have a UPC code (only the RAM itself). When I called Wintec, they said to copy the UPC number from the module and write it on the form. They then later declined to issue the rebate because I wrote it on the form (like they told me to),instead of attaching the actual UPC (which doesn't exist). They wanted me then to redo all the paperwork, only this time to take out the module from my computer, take it to a copy store and zerox the UPC and send it to them. I'm too busy to play these games. I told them to keep their F-ing rebate and I would never buy another one of their products again.

bought 2 gigs, not gonna bother with the rebate but would recommend to the people reading that they do the photocopy thing mentioned below in the reviews ... this ram was easy to install and worked immediately in my Dell Optiplex GX270 SMT. Noticeable (but not dramatic) increase in performance, was expecting more to be honest, maybe i'm just not doing intense enough things to see the difference ... anyways all good

Its impossible to get the rebate there is no upc label except the warranty tag on the chips which voids the warranty if removed

Memory appears to work fine. Great price with the rebate. Keep in mind that the dual channel works with non dual channel motherboards.

This card really bumped up the performance of my computer! So far, after one month, I have no complaints. A definite upgrade and a much better value than other memory options.
