I too wasn,t sure about the upc bar code there wasn't any on the package,so I took one off the shipping box, haven't received my rebate yet either!

My form says include UPC. No UPC came with the packaging. I emailed the company and they say that there is a UPC. I know what a UPC looks like and there is none. I guess I don't get the rebate. Stinks. I'll buy different brand.

Great value overall. Works right out of the package, & improved my benchmark 10% or so going from 512MB to 1GB. Rebate was easy enough. If doing the rebate, here's my experience: The UPC is on the memory itself, so I affixed the label from the package showing the white rectangle where the UPC normally would have been printed (white area left blank, again because the UPC is actually on part of the paper label commonly affixed to memory modules for identification purpose). I had no problems sending in the paperwork in this way, since Wintec is aware of how it's packaging this specific line with UPC on the product itself. They honored the tamper wrap in lieu of the UPC itself (removing the UPC label off the unit would void the warranty after all). I suggest doing it the way I did should be sufficient. You may want to make photo copy of the memory before installing it, just in case Wintec changes their proof standards for some unforseeable reason, but all in all it's pretty easy

I used this RAM in a older system that I have in the game room. It uses a Soyo Dragon + MB and a XP2200 1.8G processor . It is mainly used when my kids have friends over and they want to get on face book and You Tube. So it really gets a work out. SO far I am pleased and would order it again.

I added 3 Gbs to an old board and speeded up my computer for less then $100.00. At 512 Mbs my anti virus, fire wall, and IE8 along with all the running adds slowed me to a trickel. With the 3 Gigs installed 1 Gb is being used and 2 Gbs are sitting in reserve.

I was looking to up the mem on an older PC for a cheap price. The $20 rebate made it 1/2 price! Went from .5meg to 1.5meg and is working fine.

Installed it and my computer desktop recognized it at very first thing. Max memory was supposed to be 1MB, but I now have over 1.5 and it is working great. I am not sure if it is the memory or the hard drive I bought at the same time that is making my computer run like a scaldded dog, or probaly both. Good product and I recommend it to all who need more memory.

This is a very good product for all those older pc's out there that you just can't seem to get rid of because you know it still has life left in it. That's what we do around here take the old pc's and hand them down to other people. The good thing about this was before this ram stick was installed images seemed to pop up slower like the start menu and then when I added this ram stick the start menu pops up so much faster and the person using the PC is so much happier!! Great product at a great price!!
