You get what you pay for. Its cheap, It works, but all of my other wireless devices get 100% quality/strength in the same spot that this device gets 60% Q/S. If performance is an issue look for something else.

I returned this for two reasons. First it would not fit in my PCI slot without taking off the mounting bracket, and second, it required bridging with the 10/100 ethernet adapter whose slot was taken up by a video card.

great, did not know anything about wireless, adn it was a breeze. The Customer Service for Trendnet its awesome. My router charges per service, so i jsut call these guys up that they took me through the setup. a must buy for wireless

I purchased this card for one of the desktops that wasn't intended to be used full time. Even with us running this 24/7, this card has performed flawlessly! Well worth the money, and I would purchase this product again!

This product plugged right in and has been working great since I got it. I am even able to get a weak signal from my neighbor (with his permission) to get the internet! Thanks for a great deal.

Pros: I have two of them... Easy install, excellent connection, and of course cheap price... Cons: Can't get WPA to work on either. The one in my always on PC (24/7) completely loses all connection randomly and requires a full system reboot(repair IP wont work). Also, some random lock-ups of the system... The other one works fine, but that machine is not on 24/7.

I figured why not try it, for the price it probably will need some tweaking, but it's at the disposable price point in my book. Got it and had it installed, software loaded and up and running in no time, this unit is superior to many linksys and dlink units I've tried over the past 2 years. You can't beat the performance for the money, go for it!

trendnet makes very good products it works and I love it had some set up problems, but it was on my end but it is working.

My first experience with wireless in a desktop. It installed simply and worked right away. Very satisfied.

Could not hold onto a wireless signal that was one room away. I had my laptop and desktop in the same room and the desktop would not get a signal it could hold onto. The strength would bounce from weak to excellent to no signal. I don't really recommend this product but I have not tried all scenarios such as changing location, changing router brand, or trying a different adapter in the same PC. I have used Netgear, Trendnet, D-Link, and Linksys devices and I would recommend Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, and Trendnet in that order from highest to lowest. You get what you pay for.

Have it in a Dell Optiplex GX 300 running XP SP2, connecting to a D-Link wirelss router. Other than inconsistent signal strentgh it works pretty good. Price was great.

I got this about three months ago,had trouble with the CD that installes the driver.I had tried this on three of my computers,the CD starts OK but when the message says installing driver it doesn't end,so I had taken the CD out and behold it is working,it is a good product real cheap,but you might have to take awhile to get it to work,other wise it works just fine

Bought this card for a computer in the basement; the antenna with it was okay but a 6dBi directional antenna allowed the card to work great! the configuration was easy and I would recommend this card to any experienced computer user.

tried to install this card on a P2 machine with xp/sp2 and for some reason wouldn't recognize the device. Got frustrated and tried another P2 machine with same OS and recognized card right away....Works great for the price.

I could not get this to work. My PC would not boot. Trendware site states it will not work with PCI Ver 2.1 slots. That's my problem! But as of early morning 11/16/2005, the pdf on the ''Additional Resources Tab'' stills shows that PCI 2.1 is a working interface type (page 2). Trendware states the documentation provided by Tiger Direct is incorrect/out dated. Kudo's on other purchases, but your a little slow on your documentation corrections.

Works well with XP using the driver supplied. I wanted to use with Linux ,but have not found a way to get it working. Wrote two emails to tech support no answer back yet.

Great price. Easy installation, XP Recognized it like an old friend. Was up and surfing wirelessly in less than 10 minutes. Getting a 96%signal strength from my Linksys WRT54GS router, and it is located downstairs and 30 feet way. For $10 buck it works better than cards costing 4 times as much.

So much easier to use than I thought it would be. I get a strong signal through multiple walls. Not sure what else you can ask for from a wireless card.
