Two of them are operating... so far anyway.... Neweggs RMA is fantastic.. A single of the 5 would not show up in the bios, One more worked lengthy adequate to install Windows 7 then started to give errors and died. After replaced they have been fine. I had this exact same experience this month with Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB drives - of the 2 that I ordered 1 was defective and had to be replaced. Once again after replaced it has been fine. I guess if a 50% defect rate is acceptable then these are excellent drives for a good cost.

Never had any head crashes or corrupted data, it has been reliable all this time and as fast as I've really needed from it.The Blue series is a great product line from WD, and given the choice between Blues and more expensive Blacks, I would have a tough time picking one over the other. The Blues can actually compete with regards to quality, and considering price, might end up being the series I'd choose.
