This a great IDE hard drive. Never had problems with this particular type of drive either. Price was the best I could find, local places are charging much higher prices for IDE drives. Bought this bad boy for use in an old 1st gen xbox. Good times to be had. |

I used this drive to replace the internal 160GB hard drive in my Scientific Atlanta 8300HD PVR. Result: Triple the storage capacity, and the PVR runs slightly quieter after I enabled the acoustic management (AAM) feature of the hard drive. For this PVR upgrade project, this particular drive was a great choice. |

Just needed a good drive for an older PC being used as a file server. Like every other harddrive made in the last 10 years, it worked the moment it was attached and WindowsXP recognised it flawlessy. No problems at all. |

I bought this drive to upgrade a Rogers HD PVR. I have replaced the built-in 160GB IDE drive with one of these over a year ago and it has been running great ever since.
