I paired this cooler with my E8400 and some Arctic silver 5 and its gettin the job done. Extremely quiet and cool to the touch. Ran prime95 for two hours and it in no way went above 44C on each cores, and I overclocked the CPU to three.6. Can go even further with this air cooler. I surely advocate this, no want to go get some thing costly when this does the job just fine. Also looks pretty beastly inside the case. Also have the fan set up to blow up towards my top case fan. Mounting it was a slight PITA, but it only took five-ten minutes to assemble almost everything.

Keeps my Q6600 (overclocked to two.8 gHz) at 27-30C idle and 40-45C under load. Superb. It's constantly a pain to attach heatsinks to the MOBO, you get that "I'm gonna break this" feeling. Absolutely worth the ฤ. The Q6600 didn't go above 35C below full load before I OC'ed.

This fan speaks for itself. Went from 56c below load to 30c. not overclocked. Fits fine in my case, even utilized the supplied thermal paste. Doesn't rub my shoulders or feed my cat. im idling 26C with a 7750 kuma overclocked to three.5..and im employing the stock thermal grease, used the whole whole pack..i spread it on like you put ketchup on a burger..swirled, then seated, spun the heatsink back and forth, and stuck the clips on it, and off it went and hasnt stopped because! none, this is superior then my cousins artic cooler 64 pro, with his artic silver 5 i tuend off cool n quiet on my board, let the fan run at its max speed, this factor is the shizznitt!!

This a excellent cooler for tiny circumstances. I have a Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition running at 3.83GHz 鴕 x 18) and this cooler keeps it at 57C max under full load with Prime95. That is with two matched Scythe fans pushing about 56CFM. Please read other thoughts... This cooler can only be mounted with the fans blowing vertically if you have an AMD platform. I had to get their crossbow adapter to make this cooler viable mainly because with out it, it was just blowing hot air into a pocket behind the power supply and overheating the CPU. It gets 4 eggs since of this. I have a smaller Micro ATX case with extremely poor air flow, so it was a struggle to make this cooler operate at the CPU speeds I wanted. As of proper now I have to leave the side panel off to get 57C under load. If I put it on, it goes over 60C and triggers the built-in thermal protection. If you want moderate to high overclocks you Ought to feed this cooler a ton of fresh air. See other thoughts Following I got my fan attached I felt some thing move, the top heat plank came loose, and now evertime i touch it its desires to come off, all the other ones are fine though. And that spoiler that came with it, it doesn't say in the directions on how to basically attach it to the heat sink it says to just push on until it protrudes or some thing. But regardless I cant get it to remain in it falls out without hesitation. Perhaps I'm carrying out something incorrect idk. But I may possibly just leave it off unless its supposed to be on there.
