The minute I put it on temperatures dropped 15° Celsius. In the course of game play my core 2 quad tops off at 43-45°. Uncomplicated to mount on 775 chip-set. Two screws, then the mounts snap on to m board. none but! Good cost to quality ratio. Well worth 22 bucks
