Wonderful cooler. Quite fairly and keeps my i7 nice and cool. Very recommend it. The fan was a tiny difficult to attach (had to come across a youtube vid to explain it). It's a small large but I knew that just before I purchased it. Don't low cost out on a CPU cooler.

This monster is quiet! It's got a single 120mm fan and a Enormous heatsink. The stock fan would maintain me awake a night, this 1 is quite significantly silent. No directions. For AMD it's quite much plug and play, but it comes with a lot of extra hardware to make it perform with Intel. This makes it appear actually complex (when you don't have any instructions). Initially I had plans of placing yet another 120mm fan on the other side, but running at stock speeds it's not really essential on my AMD x6

Employed this monster in my second build since my Asus 5770 was running hot and in turn CPU and MOBO ran close to 70c below load. So far this has kept my second CPU and MOBO in the 40s under complete load playing BFBC2! Not really a con, but virtually had a heart attack when I saw how massive it was. Installed uncomplicated on Asus M4A785-M mobo and Phenom II X4 deneb three.0Gh CPU. There's about a quarter inch in between top of the cooler and my clear side panel on a Antec 900 case! But it looks amazing. Will maintain getting this as long as it will fit CPU's I buy!

Keeps everything nice and cool. Large!!! if you get this, and don't have a full ATX case, you'll want to check to see if it fits. Mine does with about a centimeter to spare. I use the Rosewill Cruiser case and fortunately it all functions out.

I had to remove a fan just to install it no biggy just recognize its Enormous!

Very easy install. I have never installed a cpu cooler before and when I installed this I was suprised how uncomplicated it was to install. What I did was watched a video on youtube which showed someone install this cooler. It helped a lot. Seriously basic and I highly advise it. My cpu is operating seriously cool appropriate now. I enjoy it. None

I bought this cooler due to the fact it is reasonably lightweight. I don't truly want a three lb behemoth rocking off the side of my mb. I coupled this with a nexus super silent fan. The temp stays low no matter what I throw at my proc, and the fan is ridiculously silent. It's just amazing. If you're searching for a lightweight heatsink that will also deliver the cooling you want and a good value then I have to advocate this child. The backplate is pretty significantly a piece of plastic and is stuck on with doublesided tape..kinda lame. I assume if I were to try to take it off it wouldn't be able to stick on to one more board with the exact same ease. This is all minor, assuming you never need to switch it out, I feel it will last forever.

Does the job nicely, keeps my Phenom II X4 940 (not OC'd) around mid-30s C in the course of idle and mid-60s C below gaming load. White LED fan is a good touch. Fan was simple to install and there's no vibration. No comparison to stock heatsink, since the CPU was an OEM buy from Newegg. Mounting the heatsink was kind of a pain, and it seems like it'd be easier to mis-seat the heatsink on AMD mobo's than on Intel mobos due to the clip-style mounting instead of the four screws that Intel heatsinks mount with. Directions weren't that helpful. Couple of tips for installing (AMD users): - Use a small additional thermal paste than usual.- Center the base on the CPU, then wiggle the mounting clip in and secure the heatsink. Was a discomfort for myself to seat the heatsink with the clip on.

Wow. Exactly where to start? Very first of all, it looks Fantastic. Second, I keeps my Athlon II X4 620 ࿿ TDP) OC'ed to 3.8 Ghz at a frosty 35C idle and 48C at max load. Also, I not too tall or wide, but for AMD mobo's it can only be installed one way. Second, that black finish and the white LED's on the fan go good together. This is 1 of the best CPU coolers for the funds. Blocks one DIMM slot, but hey, I only have two sticks of ram so not that a lot a dilemma. The fan can be a small tricky at first to install, I'd advise that you install the fan initially just before screwing the HSF on. Lastly, its not genuinely a con but like I stated above, AMD mobos have the latch-on lever thingy for HSFs and the bracket that came with was kinda bendy. I'm just waiting for my Artic Silver 5 to cure...about 100 far more hours to go. Overall, this is a excellent CPU cooler! If you need further proof, just google critiques for it.

Fantastic finish! Solid construction, plates don't really feel like they're bending like others.Quite quiet fan and decent airflow! Fan mounting really simple but can be a hassle if it demands to be removed.Nice packaging, shows that Xigmatek cares enough to correctly package their goods.Keeps my Phenom II 965 cool! Packaged thermal paste is doodoo, half of it was liquid, other half was practically chunky... Went ahead and got some MX-3 from my local laptop or computer shop and that did the trick. Not the ideal way to attach to a motherboard when employed on a AM3 cpu but nonetheless does the job fine. It will will need to be mounted horizontally (vertical airflow) on an AM3 board.Fantastic product. Haven't utilized anything else so far so can't actually compare but installation was pretty much painless and I'm happy with the outcomes!

It keeps my hot quad core incredibly cool (under 50C) when on stock settings and it is considerably less expensive than some of the higher end coolers like the Megahalems and it keeps you cpu just a few degrees warmer than one of the top ends ones for pretty much ฮ much less. None Considerably cheaper alternative to water cooling.

Works definitely good! Fan is still quiet (I keep it extremely clean), It's nonetheless keeping temps cooler than the stock sink and fan. When the arctic silver was set my temps have been good (recommend you run a few bench marks to set it). There was no "adhesive" on the cooler that could glue it to the cpu, hence the arctic silver. This factor rocks so substantially I have used it on many builds considering that (all in full towers, you need the room). They make a kit to adapt it to the new 1155's! You can not beat this cooler with it's efficiency to weight ratio! Also if you have children or are uncomfortable with liquid in your Ūk and up create and you must air cool then I advise this cooler! People today who give bad reviews on merchandise that function wonderful and have given hundreds of men and women a great experience. It's ridiculous that a superior product gets dumped on by a couple of people today and it spoils it for other people who might have been interested. How about in the future a person might put in one thing like "I messed up and dug a screw driver into my board trying to pry it off" or "I forgot to clean my rig as soon as in a though so the dust killed my fan" . Honestly if something brakes you have to ask yourself why initial and then make a decision is it a manufacturer defect, lack of maintenance, or stupidity on my portion that did this and most people just blame the product. Just before you buy something you must generally read the reviews, then take all the negatives with a grain of salt. It's been my expertise that most negative feedback is a result of poor shipping procedures, poor installation, poor upkeep, or poor intelligence. So please do your analysis and make a judgment call to listen to the majority or the minority.

Simple to install and cools the CPU. The bracket that comes with it is so much less complicated to use than the plastic twist screws and it stays on longer. If your case isn't full tower, it may well not fit. This factor is huge but it works!

- Properly Produced- Quality Parts & Materials- Reliable Item- Excellent Value vs. Performance/Quality- Assembly Not Hard- Works Very Nicely- Looks Sharp5 out of 5 Eggs None genuinely. The rubber fan assembly takes some acquiring utilised to, but as soon as you figure it out its not too challenging.I'm Really picky. If I had any complications with this product, I wouldn't have rated it with a excellent score. For 45 bucks, this is a fantastic deal and it looks great in your case. I see a lot of men and women giving this item poor reviews for their own stupidity and mistakes.IF YOU DON'T MEASURE YOUR CASE AND IT HITS YOUR SIDE PANEL, OR IF YOU DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO FIGURE OUT WHICH WAY THE COOLER WILL FACE Before YOU Purchase IT AND IT BLOCKS YOUR RAM, THAT'S YOUR FAULT, NOT THE Goods!Don't just obtain one thing on impulse! Educate your self on a item and its compatibility with the parts you're going to use Just before YOU Buy IT. And if you're not sure, go to a pc message board and ask questions. A lot of buyers make these idiotic mistakes, then blame it on the product and the corporation who produced it. Its not the product's fault that you don't have any widespread sense.

My temps on stock cooling had been 45c idle and 85c load on an i7 950.Temps immediately after installing this were 20c on idle and 65c on load. This was a bit of a discomfort to install considering that I had to pull my MB out of the case and put on the backplate. I don't have a great deal encounter with that, but it went on fine soon after a even though and in about an hour I got this installed and every thing back in the case. This is such a superior investment for anyone doing something severe with a high finish CPU. My only mistake was not getting it instantly.
