Paired with gigabyte ga-ma790xt-ud4p and corsair ddr3 1600mhz ram,it screams power and performance.Overclocked to 3.6ghz with one change in bios(multiplier x18),it idles at 38-40c,amazing!

I love this CPU, it overclocked to over 3.8 on the stock cooler. easy overclocking with the unlocked multiplier. I am looking at an aftermarket cooler to really get it up to speed, I have it on a Gigabyte Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P with G.SKILL G.SKILL F3-12800CL7D DDR3 timed z 7-7-7-18 and a Visiontek 3870x2 reached over 20000 on 3DMARK 2006would love to try a 4890x2 when they come out Way to go AMD!

this cpu is amazing super fast no hickups just fast and smooth. ran 3dmark vantage and the cpu scored a 39889 cpu score the submited scores showed it compare to an i7 965 with a score of 31000. that might not mean much but it made me happy and the price is unbeatable, plus it supports ddr3 if you use an am3 mobo not an am2+.

Awesome CPU. was posting 800mhz until upgraded the BIOS on m4a78t-e mb. As soon as upgraded, jumped to 3.2 ghz. Very fast and great price.BUY IT.

wow... this is the best i have seen yet . i do a lot of 3d work ''rendering'' and this runs just as fast...(i think faster) then the i7 built pc at the studio ... this is a life saver ... now i can get work done at home ... that means more time for fun on the weekends :) TY AMD. ps i built my home pc to best match the specs from the 1 at work.i spent about $1,000+ on mines .the 1 at work was $3000+ :)

Blazingly Fast, easy to overclock depending upon your mobo the gigabyte Ultra Durable series I use got this upto 4.2ghz easily with just aircooling. This is a true Quadcore unlike it's predecessors and makes some of my intensive 3DS work less a chore, and more a finished render in half the time it took my older phenom 9xxx to finish it. All in all buy this processor you won't be disappointed, and it sure as heck beats out the I7 extreme in just price alone, as well as quick adjustablility due to whats currently needed by the software.
