I Purchased This Puppy About a Year Ago it Was Quick Silver Then and it Still is today As most of you are saying i dont like the fan Because my Processor Stays hot While Gameing and You dont have much options to put a Better one in, but other then this small detail JOB WELL DONE AMD WELL DONE INDEED!! Typical AMD product. Inexpensive, easy to intall and top notch. Used this in a new build with an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe mobo and Win7 64bit. Was super easy to install with no hiccups. I've thrown alot at it and it hasn't even hesitated once. New games, old games it doesn't matter. Hard to go wrong with AMD.

I built this system based on this CPU. It has run well and is very fast and I don't overclock. I have alwyas liked AMD and this is a great choice. I don't game but I like the speed and didn't want to upgrade for along time. My first build and it was easy to install. You don't need to buy thermal grease as it comes with it.

I bought this CPU for my first ever PC build, and I love it. This thing is FAST! The only complaint I have is with the supplied heatsink and fan. The heatsink looks big enough to accomodate a 92mmm fan, but it has a 60mm fan mounted on it. The fan hardware just clips on, so there is no way to put a larger fan on the heatsink. With the stock heatsink, it idles around 40 degrees C, and while playing GTA IV, it actually shut down once due to the temp. Overall, I'm very happy with this CPU, and would reccomend it to all my friends.

This CPU is great. It plows through everything I throw at it. Does tend to run hot. After a few hours of graphic intensive gaming can get loud when the fan kicks in. Make sure you have proper cooling, case or water,

I had to upgrade my windows to win7 as WinXP SP3 couldn't run with it, i was using a dell before, however EVERYTHING WAS WORTH IT. I'm a gamer, and this bad boy doesn't let me down one bit. Worth every cent. The Company needs better credit card customer care, however, After a week delay of shipping, i was happier then ever. Easy install, everything was flawless. thanks!

Bought as a bundle with TA790GXE ver. 6.1 motherboard and together they work great. Being new to overclocking it was a breeze with the bios auto overclocking. Had some bsod (blue screen of Death) but no worries it was a memory issue that was kinda fun to troubleshoot, not really :). With that taken care of it is the best set up I have put together. Ill think ill buy me another one soon.

Easy to install, easy to flash the BIOS. It has spiked as much as 80%, but runs about 35% regardless of what graphics and processing intensive applications I can throw at it.

Changing from duo core 3Ghz to this cpu means never having more than 35% of CPU being used no matter how many appllications are in use. That translates in to blazing speed as well as the best reliability I have ever experianced!

Been using AMD processors for over 10 years now and always satisfied with the performance and value of their processors. I am glad to say still not dissappointed. I would recommend fast RAM though, slower RAM will slow down the processor.

I did a mobo and cpu upgrade to my system recently and I am very impressed with this processor. There are faster processors out there - but this one is pretty fast itself, and for the money the performance can't be beat. I'm very pleased with it and think it is one of the most price effective upgrades I've ever done.

Wow for 160$ when i bought it. This is big upgrade from my old cleron 2.66ghz Single core. Upgrading from that to this 955 is awesome. Everything i throw at it does it all. I do some video converting and stuff and does it pretty fast. You should get fast ram with this cpu or your ram might slow you down. I got ddr3 dual channel and runs pretty fast.

been running for a week now and no problems. easy overclock and very stable. cpu has not gone over 30c while gaming. included fan seems to work fine. i recommend this to anyone who takes pride in their pc

Best move i ever made. 3 months and not a glitch, updated BIOS on mother board as its an AM3 and my board was am2 and away we went. Overclocked to 3.6 gigs stock fan, ran Prime for 24hrs and never went above 54c. plays any game you throw at it. reccomend this to anyone.

i have had this cpu for two weeks now and its awesome. no hang ups installing it on an MSI NF750-G55 motherboard. although im not ocing it either... yet
