i looked up a lot on this case and was planning to buy it, but found a cheaper coolermaster i liked after price match.this case is very good, its simple and elegant.there are multiple fan intakes, and the top front panel usb is nice too, with bottom power source (personal preference).overall i would probably buy this case soon again, this case is too good to not have, especially given the low price. |

One of the more enjoyable budget case I had to work with. There are no sharp edges in the case so I did not get any cuts whatsoever. The Antec 300 now has a hole in the back of the motherboard tray so you can now access the retention brackets for the HSF. Also it now has a SSD bay. Will definitely consider purchasing the case again for another build. |

Cons:-no plexiglass window (not a weakness for me as i really don't care about showing off my PC parts)-no hole for water cooling hoses (again...not a weakness for me as i prefer air cooling by far)-hard disks being mounted on the front, not on the side like in some Antec cases.
Pros:-a lot of space for a mid-tower-power supply at the bottom, easy to remove if needed-120mm and 140mm tri-cool fans already installed-dust filter with easy access to remove and clean it (!)-Newer revision feature a cutout for the main board back plate!-both side panels can be removed Comment:
The Antec Three Hundred is really worth it, and really low-priced also. This makes you wonder why peoples are spending 150$+ only for a PC case!This mid-tower case have more than enough space for all your hard disks, optical drives, even custom coolings inside. There are 5 spaces for fans, 4 x 120mm and 1 x 140mm on top. I would suggest replacing the included tri-cool fans for Noctua fans instead, quieter and better cooling if you ask me. The power supply is mounted at the bottom of the case, so that puts it away from the CPU heat, as all the heat is being sucked out by the 2 fans on the upper part of the caseSince i switched from a Sonata II to a Three Hundred for my 2nd PC, i get much better temperatures. There is also a lot of room for a bigger aftermarket CPU heatsink, and now i believe the new revisions of this case have a cutout for the CPU cooler back plate.If you're buying a new PC from NCIX, be sure to pick this case, a lot of space for a mid-tower, 5 fans slots, not too big, just right for most builds, and low-priced! |

This was a pleasure to build in lots of room, and easy to mod(cable routing holes, Sound damping foam)you do get what you pay for not as sturdy as a single piece aluminum case ie ft02, but great case to mod for cheap. Airflow is great when using aftermarket 120MM Noctuas, as the included antecs were noisey and the 140mm caused a lot of audible vibrations. Dust filter works!!!! I was a little leary about mounting PSU face down with no intake holes but the alotted space provides enough room for the PSU to Breathe. |

This is an awesome cause but it was a female dog to put together. I added a couple of silent blue 120mm in the front and it looks awesome which the glowing blue power light and the blue LED light from myt hddvd/bluray LG drive. But putting it together was not fun. If i could post a picture i would to show you why i had so many difficulties. THe problem with the PSU being on the botton is becuase of that the cables on the PSU need to be a bit longer to get everything all nice and tidy inside, so many this is partially the fault of my OCZ psu. Other then that though, wicked case. Super silent, awesome airflow, first time antec buyer and they got me. |

Beware as the power supply is to be installed at the bottom, not all power supply has long cables and mine has the cpu 4 pin cable not long enough to reach the top of the motherboard since most cpu 4 pin supply socket are at the top of the board, when buying this case, make sure you buy a power supply with long cables. |

I've been using Antec cases for the past 20 years. My first system I built was in an Antec SX1030 and I still have that case (although it's now going to be replaced by an Antec 1200). I've used their Sonata III a number of times for systems I built at work and it was rock solid. I used a P180 to build my system at home and now that I'm replacing it, the Antec 300 fit the bill. Nice to work with, has a 2.5" SSD mounting point at the bottom of the case and has 6 3.5" hard drive bays. Good purchase. 254 people can't be wrong.
