Keeps points Incredibly cool. Has nice cable management. Good worth. BE Aware! This is situation has a bottom mounted energy supply. Take into consideration any cable extensions you might want to get to accommodate this. I ended up obtaining to buy a ATX eight-pin extender. NOT a big deal, just very good to know I would obtain this case for any create. If you have a significant video card make confident to mount your hard drive in a lower slot.

Power supply installs on the bottom. That's absolutely brilliant, due to the fact it allows for greater airflow in the chassis and the energy cables aren't anyplace near the CPU fan. It's a small clumsy getting the covers off and on, but it's not worth taking off an egg.

NO ANNOYING LEDS, QUIET FANS, Great LOOKS, Good Value!!! Really, just the molex fan connectors as an alternative of the new threeǚ pin style that the motherboard can control. They make adapters for the fans, but Im not really concerned with it. Im going to obtain yet another case for my server now, as this is the ideal on the market place!!!

Fits almost everything and then some. I was worried about space and wiring challenges with this case when i purchased it. Roomy adequate for a mid sized tower. Sufficient head room for my Xygmatek heat sync and my MSI 460 gtx card and i was nonetheless capable to install the 120mm side fan onto it. Cable management could've been a tiny greater but pretty very good contemplating it's a mid size tower. I had to tape up the wires for the stock case fans on the inside, not a big deal. The case looks genuinely great. The fans are genuinely quiet and airflow is fantastic. My mobo and CPU are at a continuous 28c on idle with each case fans on low speed mode. Even under hefty load nonetheless stays about 33c. A quite solid case even although some spaces are a bit snug. The tricky drive mounts are fairly normal and old school requiring screws. Wires are sort of messy in my process but what can you do when the cables are brief? Particular components can really feel a little snug at times such as my eight pin energy cable operating from the bottom of the case all the way to the best. That's a lot more of Coolermaster's fault than Antec's. I can't genuinely complain for the price even though. Purchased this for my first develop, a hackint0sh. Cables seem to reach everything essential and the screen on the front catches a ton of dust. I just wish the screen on the front was less complicated to eliminate for cleaning. Don't count on obtaining the ฟ.00 rebate. It's been 4 months given that I sent it in and I nevertheless haven't gotten it back. So take that into account when you cost out your construct.

picked this up for a friend who wanted to use his older 5850's to mine bitcoins. with 3 of them over clocked the two pre installed case fans are able to keep the system cool on the lowest speed settings. I like the front intake filters and the over all case though the fan placement is less then great. it would have been better to have two fans blowing in to keep a higher pressure in the case so that air and dust is not sucked in every crack and over the back IO and so on. also a intake on the back side of the mobo would have been nice.

Utilised for a wow machine for my father and it had plenty of space for all the parts. Didn't arrive scratched or dented! I'd like to see some kind of tool much less style for drive mounting for a case in this price range. Apparently I needed a complete bagful of thumb screws?

Cable management compartment subsequent to 3.five" bays. Made my new build a snap. A lot much easier than the much more high-priced P180 case from my final make. Front panel cables could be longer, hard to connect to my Asus P8P67 Deluxe motherboard. 3.5" adapters for the five.25" bays would have been a good addition. I can't consider that I would have been any additional happy with a single of the far more pricey cases offered on Newegg.

This case has it all. Does it accept 12 inch Motherboards... yup. Does it have a cutout for backside access to accommodate installation of aftermarket coolers...yup. Is it large enough to hold huge video cards...yup.Does it come with a ฟ buck rebate.... yup ...bonus.In the end this case is good. It comes with 2 fans stock and can accept three added 120mm fans mounted 2 on lower front panel in front of HDD bay and 1 additional on the side case. Yet another added enjoyable portion is the side case panel can be positioned left or ideal (under the mobo or on top rated) so the added side case fan can benefit you exactly where you require it.Very best component is that there are no annoying LED fans or clear side panel (and you want to see your quite mobo why...your vane and want reassurance your CPU is quite. I imply who cares if your tower lights up... these make me want to vomit and the only 1 it will impress is you and not the ladies. So man up go uncomplicated formal black...all the crews you will want and uncomplicated No cons... just a uncomplicated excellent setup. Bottom mount PSU is one thing I like other may well not so go with what ya like. For the price you can go incorrect, just a uncomplicated black box that makes it possible for for up to 5 fans and goood cooling.

Incredibly easy and clean appear from the outside, specifically when there isn't a DVD drive installed. Pretty substantially just a black box with a mesh grille front. On the inside, it's incredibly open, far more so than any other case I've ever had. Cable management is type of uncomplicated when you're not obtaining to bend it around anything in the case. The 120mm and 140mm fans it comes with are heavy-duty however relatively quiet three-speed Antec fans, in very good position for CPU exhaust. At low speed they're incredibly quiet. There's also space for a side-mounted 120mm over the video card and two 120mm intakes in the front. The cutout for shifting HSF backplates... it's a single of these things that you don't want that typically, but when you will need it, MAN is it nice. That's essentially the reason I'm performing this assessment - had to switch out the HSF and I was so relieved when I realized I didn't have to rip the whole motherboard out. Very barebones. No drive rails, or anything like that.Putting the PSU in is a bit of a discomfort, and it scratched up the sides something awful. Yet a different excellent case from Antec. Their instances are acquiring far better and much better.

Big situation, Huge fan holes, great stock fans, speed manage, headphone/mic in front, gamer-style features without having seeking like a tacky spaceship. Roomy, rounded corners, bottom power supply. washable air filter. headphone jack automatically mutes speakers (some don't). all the fans are 120mm or bigger, no 80mm fans, which suggests the situation, while kinda loud, is a lower pitch hum. Not the screaming whine I got from one more situation i had with 7 80mm fans. The fans have speed manage, so you can make it sound like a wind tunnel or a deep hum, undoubtedly not quiet though. USB Ports are reverse polarity in relation to my motherboard (msi k9n), they perform but fried my motherboard and had to RMA. so i stopped using the front USBs. I guess a con could be that it only has two front usb's but for me there is . A different con may well be that the stock fans aren't led fans, but they are speed controlled so that's cool. It is sort of heavy but it is a desktop, not meant for travel. But the thought alone of lugging this thing to a LAN celebration makes my back hurt. its not quiet but I run all of the fans so I was expecting that. Good case overall, I'd advise to any person. just attempt to verify your usb pinout initially, if it doesn't match, no worries just get a usb2. hub. It has sweet adequate features that a power user or gamer won't outgrow it any time soon, and it doesn't appear like a cheesy spaceship from a undesirable movie. I also built a computer system out of this case for my mother in law, it's not a swift laptop or computer but it's nice to know if i need to have to operate on it or upgrade it in the future that it will be effortless to get in there to add a hard drive or something.

This is the second time I've applied the Antec 300 for a create and it's nevertheless my preferred case. It's straightforward to use, uncomplicated but appealing seeking, compact but not also modest to fit every little thing I will need and the included fans run good and quiet. An additional fan at the front of the situation would be great but it nonetheless has good airflow with no it. The Hyper 212 CPU cooler fits but there's not a whole lot of clearance to the side of the situation. Tank-like construction. Thumbscrews everywhere: the ultimate mix of sturdy, secure fastening and toolless operation. Convenient design. No sharp edges. Ports and controls close to the major. Sharp styling. Outstanding cost. Basically, everything it's doable to do proper with a case, Antec did correct with this situation. Fans aren't automatically controlled? This situation is *heavy*—in excess of 20 pounds empty heavy. Trucking it around is not an exercise for the faint of heart. It's also pretty large, although absolutely not the biggest I've observed.

This is a pretty good case but it's a little noisy. It make a vibrating sound on the top, if I lay my hand on it the case becomes a lot more quiet. I'm still pretty happy with it, as it's served me well for many years, but I think there are probably some better budget cases on the market these days.

Immediately after doing hours of world wide web study, I decided to get this situation: I am most concerned about dust and pet hair infiltration in my old residence, and this case has good airflow with a washable front filter. It also had a lot of superior evaluations (and a mail-in rebate.) At initially I wanted to invest the lowest quantity of dollars achievable on a situation; it's the stuff inside that counts ideal? Nicely, largely. But for the cash, this case is IMHO the greatest deal out there. It is not flashy, but then once again LED fans and plexiglass windows aren't my style. It is strong and has capabilities that makes constructing easy, and a properly believed-out design that will last extended into future upgrades. The fit and finish is that of good quality, and there are lots of tiny details built in that I started to appreciate whilst putting it all with each other, quite a few are already listed in the thousands of reviews already out there. Not a lot of cons to list, all small sufficient not to affect the rating. I had to 'mod' the case a bit for cable routing, but I didn't want drill any holes like a lot of have completed. Adequate arranging and zip-ties tends to make it tidy adequate (a modular energy supply also helps.) I moved the leading fan a quarter turn so the cables ran into the corner for cleaner routing. I also rigged a dust screen for the side vent working with some carbon filter mesh (cut-to-fit) for an air-purifier. If I had to do it again, I consider I would just use a an additional reviewer's suggestion: just tape it shut with a black cut-off bit from the box it came in. I agree that the airflow is superior without having that side vent at all. Also please note: utilizing an larger, older IDE CD drive in the reduce five.25" slot may well lead to the information cable to come quite, very close to the energy connector for your motherboard. Some cursing and 'persuasion' may possibly be required, but it is attainable. Good Luck! My hypothesis for a cooling resolution was correct: the integrated 120mm and 140mm tricool fans switched on low move much less air than two 120mm scythe gentle typhoons installed in front on high, so now I have a positive pressure airflow setup. I required this for a number of causes, mostly due to the fact the power provide stays fanless most of the time and i didnt want dust drawn in through the grille. Now the only factor I hear rarely is the CPU fan, and the gfx card fan on start out-up!My construct:This situationAMD Athlon dual-core 2.7gig black CPUAsus M3N78-VM boardSeasonic X-650 energy provideNvidia 9600 gtWD caviar 500gig HD (SATA) applied Seagate 40 gig IDE (backup HD)Asus Multidrive (SATA)utilized HP cd/rw drive (IDEƜ Scythe Gentle Typhoons ྮ's)two Antec tricool fans 120mm and 1400mm (included)silverstone fan screen (case accessory)Alpha&Omega five.25'' storage box (case accessory)
